Sites don't run for free. Especially on a forum of our scale. Have you ever donated to keep the site running? Ever buy a RS lanyard? Sticker? Click an Ad? Or, at least disable Adblock?

Already have plans to buy some RS goodies at the spring meet. Should at the very least implement a subscribe payment policy for posting in the Car Classifieds. Too many lurkers, one hitter quitters using RS free classifeids but not participating in the forum community. It has worked great for other forums like Rennlist.

You had yours on the market for months before selling. I actually saw it posted on CL for more than your asking price back in january. It was only posted briefly though.

The one in that link is fresh on the market.

I went there,

Me: "What demo do you drive yourself?"
Salesman: "Oh I have BMW, I like BMWs but most cars we have are RHD JDM"

Me: "Do you guys have the E36 M3? I'm kinda interested in it"
Salesman: "Is that a Mercedes?"
Me: "..."

(Perhaps he was thinking about W202?)

Anyway, the car looked decently clean until I popped the hood and the engine bay paint was in questionable condition. It was really rough and looked rusty? I'm not experienced with BMWs myself.

Correct me if i'm wrong. Isn't the SMG tranny the same as the 6spd, but with some sort of shifting mechanism?

You need the Omni GLHS.
They are starting to go up in price for good condition ones.

The Shelby Lancer was a limited-production hatchback sports sedan based on the Dodge Lancer. Modified by Carroll Shelby for 1987 and in Graphic Red only, the Shelby Lancer was intended to be an American counterpart to such European sedans as the BMW 3-Series and Peugeot 405. It was well-equipped inside with many amenities not offered on the normal Lancer, including a special 10-speaker Pioneer CD audio system, one of the first Compact Disc systems offered in an American car. There were only 800 of these cars made in total; 400 came with a 3-speed Automatic transmission (A413) and leather interior, and 400 with a 5-speed Manual transmission (A520) and cloth interior. Other Shelby-branded items included a numbered plaque attached to the dashboard along with Shelby 15 inch wheels, a Shelby steering wheel, and a Shelby valve cover. The various VIN plates and build labels on the car all indicated "Shelby Automobiles" instead of the typical Chrysler or Dodge labels found on normal production vehicles.

Power came from a Chrysler supplied, Shelby tuned Turbo II 2.2 Liter Intercooled SOHC I4, with 175 hp (130 kW) and 175 ft·lbf (237 Nm). Weight was just over 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) with the average driver, so performance was not as good as the lighter and lesser-equipped Shelby GLHS. It took about 7.2 seconds to get to 60 mph (97 km/h) and quarter mile times were in the mid to high 15-second range with factory boost levels peaking at about 12 PSI.

Seems like an interesting build, but because the owner clearly has a broken right pinky finger and couldn't seem to hit the 'Enter' button for a new paragraph, I can't be bothered to read it...:rukidding:
