Guy must be getting lots of interest, emailed for viewing and potential purchase pending PPI and hasn't replied.

Does asking for a PPI usually scare some sellers?

Only if they have something to hide. Maybe your competing with people who are willing to buy it without a PPI.

If it's a funny ad that will likely get flagged, please screen cap it or at least copy and paste the ad and post it in here.

Late year M3, low kms, coupe, unmolested, clean title, local bc car, and one owner..
he is probably getting a lot of interest. These are pretty hard to come by!
I hope you get it!

knight604 03-06-2015 12:14 PM

if it was white, i would pick it up.. so sick of black cars

westopher 03-06-2015 12:17 PM

Id show the ad of the black m3 to the guy selling this and offer him 21-22k
MINT 2005 BMW M3 (E46)
I know the low milage is attractive but I couldn't take a black on black over a white over red regardless of just about anything. Thats just my opinion though. The black one looks like a great buy if you don't mind the colour combo.

If I was that guy I would laugh you out the door.

He's got a single owner vehicle, with almost 100k less km.

And you are going to use the colour of the vehicle and an ad for another car worth 25k to offer him $21000?

Even based on the white and red colour combo being more desirable and the manual transmission being more desirable, why does that make the black car worth $5000 less than the white car you posted?

In all honesty the black car at $25k seems like a great deal for somebody that wants a clean example to enjoy during the summer.

If you want just another nice E46 DD the black car is not for you.

westopher 03-06-2015 12:42 PM

Re read what I wrote because I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I'd offer the guy with the white car 21-22k because there is a black one with 90k less for the same as his asking price. The exact opposite of what you think I'm saying. Couple that with the fact the white one has been on the market a few weeks now. He could still be uninterested in the offer, but it's something to consider

white rocket 03-06-2015 12:52 PM

That white one is gorgeous! E46 M3's don't really do it for me at all but that one is fucking nice! Westopher's got it. $22k is a fair price for sure.

Wild_Penguin 03-06-2015 01:14 PM

This maybe a good buy?

Ferrari 456GTA West Shore: Langford,Colwood,Metchosin,Highlands, Victoria

Or this one. Given it is a rebuild and auto.

I'd take black/black over white/red any day (although I don't like red interiors on anything, at all, ever). Black paint is a bitch but red interiors are just disgusting.

Sorry went over my head.

Makes sense. That white one would make a great car for someone who wants something they can drive 3 seasons out of the year... And if our winters continue like this one year round...lol

The_AK 03-06-2015 01:26 PM

M3 galore :ahwow: .... I can't work now.....

is350 03-06-2015 01:52 PM

How reliable are the e46 m3 motors anyway? the black one already has 146k on it. Not to mention suspension wear as well.

knight604 03-06-2015 02:03 PM

Other than Vanos , its not a big deal. great engine.

Im sure other people can chime in more.
