Like every other car in the world, it depends on how its been maintained, however there are a few added things like valve adjustments to add to that list over an every day average motor. Most suspension bushings have about a 100k life to them on the e46, subframe mount issues should have already been addressed. I don't think they fall under the category under any sort of unreliable sort of car, but they are reasonably high maintenance. I mean, there is no point of driving a car like that unless you keep it driving like it should. Buy a car with records and a PPI unless you feel like really rolling the dice.

| 997.1 GT3
Don't often see too many GT3s for sale, and by owner, too.
A Cayman is one of my dream cars, but a GT3 would be even more awesome. Drove the 991 GT3 on a track when I was in Vegas so I can only imagine how much more fun a manual 997 would be.

I have absolutely no idea what price scale these cars go for, and the CBB trade in value of $55,045 - $59,400 just somehow didn't seem all that accurate. |

That 997.1 GT3 looks great. Price is fair considering our dollar right now. Toronto car is kinda yuck but that would just be a negotiating point on behalf of the buyer since it never saw winter technically. I keep flip flopping between an NSX or P-car(997 Turbo or GT3) and this car isn't helping :P

Knowing you have a kid, I think a 997 turbo would be far and above the most awesome choice. Could you imagine a weekend getaway to whistler with the wife and kid in a 997 turbo? I can, and its awesome.

Price wise I would say that GT3 is about right, maybe a tad bit high given the KM's.
It also has a random vent kit for the front bumper (Commonly installed on track cars), some non-pilot sport cup tires (Probably much cheaper tires)… and very little options.. the one option it does have is the only one that a lot of people avoid lol #PPCB #20Krotors #yesthatsUSD Though from the pics you can't even tell if the rotors are still PCCB or were converted to steel.
The fact that it's from Ontario is also not a bonus, though if it was never driven around winter it might be okay… the residual salt stays on the road there for quite some time after the snow is gone.
Americans know Porsches can be had at bargain prices here.. though they usually prefer to pick of a formerly American car to dodge the duty and avoid KM/H clusters. (It seems to me anyway)

Lobster claws look pretty good on the standard body water cooled cars

Not because of the drop top faggotry but more due to creaks, leaks, etc. I care not for even a sunroof so a true coupe would be ideal.

Calling White Rocket 1987 Buick Turbo T
Not the best deal but if it's tidy and sorted out, it could be a good buy if that NSX you wanted doesn't pan out
Also, you can nickname it the 'White Rocket' |
