Really good price for a 2011 C63 - the first model year with the updated, more reliable engine
Clean title, no accidents, local car...

Why would they try to sell it with that wrap on though? Like what are the odds someone is going to like it.

Good price though

my concern is what the condition of the paint is under that wrap.

Looks so nice, but sounds like some scary electrical is looming. I wonder what the accident entails and how dicey the repairs are.

Nice looking P-car and "could" be a good buy but I just can't get over spending that kind of money for a rebuilt titled vehicle. Yes, the savings are there comparatively speaking but still, tough pill to swallow.

Curious how others feel about that scenario. Is a car or good deal worth enough to you to swallow the rebuilt pill?

Wow apparently someone decided to take the risk and got themselves a driver or track car.

Rebuilt cars are hit and miss. All depends on what the damage was and who did the repairs. They are always difficult to sell. Buy one low and sell it low.

My dad has a rebuilt 05 Nissan X Trail SUV he is selling. It drives just fine with 130kms. Had the front fender, both doors and rear quarter damaged. ICBC wrote it off.

A friend of mine has a rolled over Dakota he has driven for years now without any issues.

I just recently bought a rebuilt car. So far it has been fine, however, it is a pretty simple car compared to a Porsche. The car I bought is a 1999 Acura EL essentially just a Civic with a different front end and a few minor differences.

The price was right and it was written off for what appeared to be a fender bender, I was able to see the car before, during the repair process and after the rebuild was finished. That made me much more comfortable about buying a rebuilt car, when it was rebuilt is also very important. An older car that is worth less money will be written off for something that could be a minor accident while a newer car to be written off will have to have sustained more damage for an insurance company to write it off

to keep this on topic - 1994 Volvo 850 1100 $ for a running and driving car with lots of recent work

Wish I had seen this earlier, looks like a great driver. I'd have quick flipped my M3 and 996 to get it.

The electrical stuff wouldn't bother me at all, it's all about straightness. Airbag lights don't matter if you junk the airbags.

^No more than 8000 and at that price he still makes a tiny profit.

I've done some work on my 993 and it is relatively easy to work on. A lot more challenging to drop the motor/trans compared to your average car. I would spend some time on Rennlist doing some searching. That 997 does not have GT3 rims as the seller states. Those are cheap aftermarket rims.
