trollguy 04-01-2015 10:33 AM

anyone looking for an 01 996tt? $58k. best colour too.

guards red and sand interior. 19k original and seems pretty stock down to the ugly black bumperettes. well, sans the smoked turn signals up front which i'm pretty sure MCL gave to all new owners anyhow. and painters tape. lol.

2001 Porsche 911 Turbo

mk1freak 04-01-2015 10:41 AM

hella old painter's tape is a bitch to clean off, blue/green /biege.......

underscore 04-01-2015 10:48 AM

14 year old painters tape is gonna be gross as hell, it's only supposed to be on for a week or two tops.

fliptuner 04-01-2015 12:03 PM

Brb, putting painters tape on whole car.

"Installed 15 years ago to preserve finish. It's mint underneath."

trollguy 04-01-2015 12:21 PM

I also like how it's just a partial 'protection' too.

Hnghh...

See not that my budget allows for it, but my issue with buying a car like that is i'd double the KM on it in 6 months... I think i'd rather have a driver I can beat the ever loving crap out of, track, and not care how many KM go on it.

jmanhas 04-01-2015 12:45 PM

2001 s2000

this car is back up for sale again lol

Gerbs 04-01-2015 12:57 PM

wingies 04-01-2015 01:09 PM

i dont think anythign is wrong with it persay, but someone really doesnt like them lol so they keep flagging their ad everytime. Just watch, itll be gone in a few hours

Maybe also cuz it has 200,000k on a car that was meant to be driven hard

Buick Grand National. Remember someone was looking for one.

1987 Buick GRAND NATIONAL BLACK for $19,995 in ABBOTSFORD | autoTRADER.ca

Retrac 04-01-2015 01:55 PM

Not a grand national if it isn't a 3.8 turbo. That one comes with a 5.7 v8. No engine pic either.

Stock lt1 is only 275 hardly seems worth doing a swap when a stock 3.8t is probably faster and a tuned one would smoke any lt1

TouringTeg 04-01-2015 03:45 PM

911s seem to be prone to wear on the spot where the painter's tape. Mine has scratches there on both sides and the rubber door seal tears. About $350 for a new one for a 993s

Pooling of water in the trunk, lots of wear on both seats and interior pieces however it does have 200,000kms.

cdizzle_996 04-01-2015 08:29 PM

It's funny I had my mint AP1 up for $10500 a few years back for 4 months. Was well maintained, basically stock but had 200k from me commuting and I never even got lowballed when I was trying to sell it. Let it go for $9500 and still often cry...

Once you swap out the major component that makes it a GN, it might as well be any G Body with GN trim.

if the car also has a carbon interior trim package and bilstein coils on it...

then it was a 996TT that i've helped the original owner sell..... for 53k about two years ago...

zilley 04-01-2015 09:02 PM
