interesting. i did read on 6spd that 996s have bottomed out and are slowly appreciating (well the TTs are at least).

now that you mention it, it does look lowered. cant tell if CF pkg based on those pics though.

'Tis the season to sell it.
Maybe they did a bunch of stuff done to it as well.

Dealers of higher end cars are upping their prices hoping to attract US buyers. With their strong dollar right now it has become the norm.

That thing is pretty much sold already based on the rennlist comments.

Only thing to consider... Dem Winnipeg roads; they suck balls. Suspension is gonna wear out early on that.

Not to mention the sand and salt they use on their cars. The body will look like Swiss cheese after a few years. Not to mention the stone chips.
Anywhere on the prairies is like that with the exception of Calgary. They actually have nicer (IMHO) roads than Vancouver and LML. Then again, they maintain them like crazy!

Sask (especially Regina) has far worse roads than I've ever seen. Growing up there I didn't remember them being so bad, but I honestly don't see the point of anything nice/more expensive than an M series BMW, but now they have Pcars, F cars and any other high end car letter you can think of.

If I were to move there, the only car I'd ever consider would be a truck. no point in anything nice for 3 months of the year

I'd just get a raptor if I lived there. Way more enjoyable than any exotics you will own.

2003 Porsche 911 Turbo Local Car! Affordable Sports Car!

More than Double the mileage compare to the yellow one, but two years newer and local.
Slightly cheaper but always get me nervous when it's dealer listing...

Sometimes I hate dealing with people....

"sorry I don't have any pictures, I don't own a camera. Come to surrey to view"

that's fine I can understand that a camera isn't something that everyone has but on the sig "Sent from my iPhone"

Given the mileage on the car I doubt he/she is driving the car in the winter

I tend to agree, but for a much simpler reason than everything you posted: their roads are boring as hell! Maybe not quite as big of a jump for most people in the GVRD but I would kill myself if I had to drive out of the province to find a half decent road.

Hell, even a Raptor would be a waste out there, where are you gonna find even vaguely exciting offroading on the Prairies?

2008 Acura TSX manual w/ naviagtion, A-spec package

Nice price for a clean looking TSX. It was listed for a lot more a while back - wonder what happened.

In the winter, snow wheeling, in the spring/fall mud, mud, and more mud, and in the summer you can use the raptor for what it was actually for, blasting across washboard desert at 100mph... Except in this case it's washboard prairie.

Snow wheeling out there sounds about as exciting as snowmobiling out there. Sure you can do it, and it's probably better than nothing, but compared to doing it in BC? Fuck no.

underscore 04-03-2015 08:34 AM

Not an amazing price, but finding a 1 owner Canadian car this clean is very rare. I have no clue why they call it a "GT-S" though, you'd think after 25 years they'd know it's a "Turbo 4WD"
