If this came up before I bought my car I definitely would of at least checked it out.

The E36 is definitely an iconic driver's car, but turning heads everywhere you drive might be a bit of a stretch. But damn I love those cars. I think that's a very fair price for what appears to be a very clean car, there are a lot of these cars with 170k MILES that are going strong and want almost $10k.

If you wanted a silver car, I don't think you could hope to do much better on the $/value scale... can definitely pay more for a lower mileage one if you are willing to be VERY patient or pay huge dollars to bring one in from the US, but otherwise I think that's as good as it gets.

^ Agreed. They are like the 996 of M3's. Great performance and value.

Skunkworks 91 964 C4 129kms. $37.5 USD Love the soft back sport seats. They are so comfortable.

** 1989 BMW 325i - Excellent Condition **

Despite being an auto, looks like a great example of a well cared for, documented e30.

Except unlike the 996, they aren't a ticking time bomb to require a 5 figure engine replacement. In fact, I would say they are among the stoutest and most reliable of any reasonably performance oriented Euro. The number of 300,000km+ E36s still going strong is unbelievable.

I know the owner. This car is very very mint. Beige on beige auto 4 door is not exciting, but if you live e30's and want the CLEANEST platform to get collector plates, or to start a 10 year project this is the one

tofu1413 04-06-2015 10:43 PM

for some reason... I like the bronzit E30's... usually the paint is in better shape than the red ones i've looked at.

Just know that STi's have ringland issues, something to remember. Which is why im hesitant to buy one. I certainly wouldn't buy a high mileage used one tho.. and it's been rebuilt. 17k is not a good deal IMO

certainly not too good of a deal. My friend's 08 STI hatch (rebuilt, 70k) and only wants 18k for it.

SumAznGuy 04-07-2015 02:32 PM

I wonder if this car was for sale last year for $12K by a fellow RS'er?

Seniortaco373 04-07-2015 02:42 PM

So should I throw up a lower offer? Something like 12k?

If the car is taken care of, ring lands won't be an issue.

2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG 507 EDITION COUPE

Good deal? Not sure if owner really thinks people will pay 13k to take over the lease but even with that at 65k its not a bad deal. :considered:

I don't really get it either. If owner turns it in to mb in 5 mos he gets nothing, but today it's worth 13k?

there will be tax to buyout the vehicle.....
so you need to pay 52,000+12%=58,240+13000=71240.
whereas a brand new one will cost you approx. 80k+tax= 92k

$20k depreciation in about 2 years on C63, doesn't sound like a good deal to me.
you can probably buy a 09 C63 for less than $40k..
