The pricing is very attractive but take it to consideration how much you will need to spend on it.

sad. Lexus used to be synonymous with quality and reliability

FS: Cheap honda ruckus

Could be decent. Good price.

punkwax 04-08-2015 05:54 PM

^ I've emailed and called that guy a few times.. he must be one of those CL sellers who don't know how to remove or update an ad. It must be sold, otherwise he's incapable of returning messages.

I'm thinking about offering this guy $17,000, can someone lemme know if this is a reasonable price?

Heads up on this car. It didn't have much body damage (mirror swipe, rear bumper cracked I think). Stolen recovery. Custom built/tuned motor was fucked upon finding it, 40% leak down test or something. The rotors/brakes were also screwed up or something. It was on the local suby forum.

If stock motor was swapped back in, cobb flashed and fixed the brake issues than the car was a nice daily other than that

the only thing thats specifically not allowed are the non era correct wheels. pretty doubtful if they would notice the chip/diff/brakes

dared3vil0 04-08-2015 09:54 PM

^ I've heard if you have a collector plate with "illegal" mods (i.e the brakes, diff, chip) and you get in an accident, they'll void your insurance if they find the mods during the repair as you had to lie to get the collector status, is this just fear mongering or is their truth to it?

I am reasonably certain that for that generation of Civic Si, it has no power steering. So keep this in mind if you are planning to have your gf drive the car. IMO, manual steering for even a car like that requires some degree of arm strength at low speeds.

1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 3

This seems like a good deal, seen it around before clean as a whistle on the outside. $6500 for an Evo III

Traum 04-09-2015 01:58 AM

Hmm... that's gotta be a catch to this, right?

Yeah the catch is the online price is to lure you in. On the windsheild its listed at $2990, not to mention you dont know if it has 500k.

I just sold a fairly clean 1998 GS, black, loaded with 2 sets of tires for $2k..

$17,500, white, 123,000km, new clutch and timing belt recently.

jasonturbo 04-09-2015 10:59 AM

The GT3 is clean minus the DME report, I haven't seen it personally but was told it has many high range over rev's.

I did call the dealer in January but decided not to pursue... I prefer the 997.1 RS unless the .2 RS is a rare color :)

Having said all that, at 140K CAD it's still a better buy than going south fo the border, even after you factor in the 4.1L conversion :fullofwin:

rJZx 04-09-2015 11:06 AM

Tfw you can only afford cars like jasonturbo in video games :okay:
