Then you planned out your Friday/Sat/Sun by how close each car was, and your priority order in viewing them. Photos? We have it way too easy these days :P | Lol. I found a place that had it at 4am, Thursday. If there was a really good deal I'd reverse search the number and be ready to go there by the time I called the guy at 8am.
It's funny cause if the car was sold on Thursday, you'd get calls til the next week when the new paper came out. And even then, people would still call 2 weeks later asking if you still had it - to the point where you'd have to change your VM, saying the car was sold.
Things are definitely a lot easier now.

I remember when I was 15 sitting in drivers education cruising through the auto trader magazine looking for e30s, and calling them from the payphone on my lunch break. Damn kids these days.

Take the first one for example, ~160k km, + import/inspection fee + duties + shipping etc... Oh and the bent valves need replacing (not sure how much this is... some s2ki search results show 1.5-2.5k?). It's gonna be 20k+ CAD before the valve fix, which I don't think is a great deal for one in that condition.

^ that definitely has been used for its purpose. Despite the mileage, it seems like a lot of car for the money

With respect to the NSX, doesn't really matter what we think seeing as it sold in less than 24 hours.
On the other hand... this ad is 100% bullshit IMO and I suspect we will see the car for sale long past April 17th. "SOLD deposit in place but still showing it" ... for an auto ... riiiiiiiiight. SOLD SOLD - deposit in place! NSX NSX-T TARGA 85000kms

the price on s2000 is somehow still up there. I feel lucky to have bought a clean MY2000 (80k km) in 2011 for 11K, and traded it for 10K (110k) after having it for 2 years, and it was a east coast vehicle.
All these prices on craigslist for s2000 is so high....I feel sad i let mine go for so low. Are people really willing to pay that much for one?
