2010 BMW M5 6 Speed

Still a phenomenal car, but I am not a fan of the Bangle designed eyebrow special. The 2012 M6 that was posted earlier is much nicer.

im intrigued by these, is this a good price? i would think it would be more reliable than m3 or c63, albeit slower

It seems pretty good considering similar year IS350/250's are sitting in the low to mid 20k's.

320icar 04-23-2015 12:37 PM

Ive driven the isF before. You can feel it's not the lightest car, and I don't really enjoy driving automatics. BUT it's a Lexus. Definite build quality, a fantastic motor. If you enjoy driving but don't do a tonne of canyon carving this is definitely my pick. Can't be sure but I would say it's a safe bet maintenance will be cheaper than an e9x m3 or c63.

Oh, he cockpit feels a bit cramped up. Just the layout does not feel roomy. I've always disliked the is250/350 for that. Very poor choice of window switches, way down at your knee

flagella 04-23-2015 01:27 PM

That IS-F has to be either scam or have some serious accidents. Too little info is provided too.

2001 BMW 740IS

Not sure if good buy or not but looks very clean.

Usually if theres not many details in the ad, I assumed the seller probably doesnt give a fuck and/or is not serious about selling their car, or theres something seriously wrong. You can tell that the ones that put alot of effort in their ads are the ones who generally care about their cars and have cars that are well taken care of

Is all the preventative maintenance done on this particular car?

The ad claims hollow spoke turbo wheels but those pictured don't look like 996TT hollow spokes.

If you're able to test drive, get the engine up to temp then walk around back and listen for noisy lifters - is one bank louder than the other? This drove me mad with my mk2. Since it's raining today, check for water leaks along the bottom edge of the door panels. Feel for dampness all carpeted surfaces in the cabin and the trunk.

I too am curious about the VR tuning... if it can be removed/rolled back without messing up the DME.

It's a good price if it's not rebuilt or been a huge accident. These normally go for mid to high 30s in good condition.

I almost bought one in December from Jim Pattison for $35K.

that m3 has been for sale a bunch of times in the recent years. probably driven hard. though i can't confirm. estoril is overrated IMO. but everyone seems to love it.

knight604 04-23-2015 03:01 PM

That e60 m5 6speed is one rare m5

Gerbs 04-23-2015 03:11 PM

How much would you guys pay for a Na miata 200k km, but well maintained.

despite an awesome interior colour, Google doesn't produce any info on a "740is"

320icar 04-23-2015 03:15 PM

Hard to say on the miata. Prices are going up. I paid 3200 for my one owner low mileage (like 110k) with hardtop. But the paint had the 90/91 white flaking issue

Completely stock? Any mods? Condition of the car overall? Any rust?

Man.. I've been looking for a while and they seem to all be around 4500-5000 right now, even at 200,000 kms and up. Bit too much if you ask me. But I still really want one.

threezero 04-23-2015 03:44 PM

Would like to know also. Gf feel in love with old fun cars and she wants one

Tricked Out 2014 Honda Grom For Sale (No Freight, PDI, Doc Fee Etc!)

Someone pick this up! It's got a butt load of extras and the price is less than a new one. Buy a new one for $3800. Or pick this one up. I know no pics. But go check it out. Its clean and has at least $1k worth of aftermarket parts. It's not mine. Its another member from my Grom Facebook group. Guy needs money for medical bills. Owned by an elder gentlemen, so it's been well taken care of.

Easiest motorcycle to ride, I love mine and ride it like I stole it.

Depends man. Older ones have pop up headlights and plain old look better. But the NB has more power, a much stiffer chassis and a nicer interior. Though with all that stuff it does add some weight. Mods are the same cost on either chassis.

If I were my money, id buy an old one again purely on looks. I hate the NB chassis and the headlights don't pop up.
