Is it just me or is almost every s2k that is up for sale is silver?

Even if the odometer was in miles, it's still a pretty decent price. 1st MY AP2 with the best looking OEM wheels (excluding CR). Silverstone + black/red interior is gorgeous as well.

A friend pointed out the same thing, and I did a quick Google search on the pictures. The interior pic is literally the identical as this ad on S2ki in April 2014:

If somebody is interested, they should still get in touch with the seller though. Doesn't hurt to check it out. With the seller mentioning Fastrack and stuff, it seems odd to me that he'd bother making up stuff like that just to put up a fake ad. Then again, I never understand why someone would want to waste time to create a fake ad in the first place, so...

I feel like there are enough trolls that cruise through here and look at what people are looking for and make ads to fuck with them.

I'm sure there are some sellers that are making ads to inflate the market price.
This is pretty easy to do if you are looking for a rarer car (E.g. S2000) where there's only a dozen available locally.

On the flip side, there are probably some potential buyers doing the same thing with fake lower-priced ads.

I've bought/sold 4 vehicles on craigslist, but I think the BS factor is getting annoying to deal with. I used to think used car dealers were worst to deal with than private sellers, but I think it's not necessarily the case anymore.

Crazy how NFR is the 3rd most popular colour behind SSM and BB and you rarely see any in this colour over here.

Hard to say, only 2,585 S2000's sold in Canada total.

IIRC, they only had NFR for AP1's and 08/09 MY AP2's in Canada so that's probably why. All the other NFR AP2's are imported.

Another s2000, lower miles no accident so more collectable as I plan to keep it .

No fucking shit. Only 50000 produced! Rare! 1 of only 500 in this colour combo with sunroof, rear spoiler, dual zone climate, heated mirrors and small scratch on door!

Anyone that is interested and is on the fence, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I've seen this car before, Nutar is nuts about his car and keeps it in pristine condition; in fact it's a garage queen since he hardly ever drives it.

Yet at the same time my 1 of <1785 car has effectively zero value :lol

Unfortunately for ICBC and pretty much most Canadian Insurance companies.. they count world wide production numbers instead of just Canadian Market. I think 1500 is their threshold to be "collectible".

They're "flexible" on the 1500 though.. Many 91-93 NSXs still get plates even though they're above 1500
