I thought I wanted a VX at one point until I accepted the fact that I'm incapable of driving in a manner that actually saves fuel past a certain degree. Also, most mods that don't improve the aero will probably decrease fuel economy.
Don't get me wrong, that one looks great and they're super hard to find in nice shape - they just aren't for me.

However, the more I look at it the more purple it looks. And I agree that the price isn't great. It was just the original owner status that caught my attention.

Not a super bargain, but a good, reasonable price. If I were still in my early 20's, I could totally foresee myself picking this up and building it into something fun...
