Having owned a first gen Ls400, I would suggest getting a second gen if budget allows.

The updated interior makes it feel much nicer inside. I also liked the one piece healight on the second gen.

Motor is bulletproof on both, basic maintenance was all i needed at around 250,000ks.

Both would most likely need suspension parts updated (bushings, balljoints etc)

Kinda cheesedick wheels, but I bet you could sell them to a cheesedick and get something awesome for substantially less.

glancing at the pics i already see red flags:

- exposed rivets on fenders
- car is yellow (least desirable color)
- paint on fenders doesn't match shade on color
- how beat on is the car?

Those wide fenders mod certainly isn't increasing value. it will appeal basically to the stanced crowd who like wide tires.
