I love the green. Reminds me of Oak green on the old 911s. Love it or hate it, having a colour that stands out is a good thing.

Double check your Vin.
Pretty darn sure all CDM 00's were yellow.

VIN has now been triple-checked because you made me paranoid! It's for sure a 2000, original colour CW (paint code NH-0).

No, they just go for the most fanciest and expensive option.

If you market to them that a 600hp RWD with skinny ass slippery tires as the most exclusive model, they will drive it and mill themselves.

2000 Acura Integra Type R

there are canadian cars in this list, and several of them are listed as factory championship white

This car belonged to a person on VCC, use name was Pharaoh (spelling?), then after it sat on a used car dealer lot at the corner of Kingsway and Gilley.

And I believe it used to have a front replica Type R bumper.

Other wise that's just the jist of the history.

Link for the ad is gone but if it is Pharoh's car, be careful what the seller says about the history, it was rear ended twice before 2012.

1992 integra 350

If someone needs a really cheap beater. I spoke to him last week when he was asking for $800 but now he is desperate is asking for $350.
Haven't seen the car in person but I would have jumped on it as a parts car if it was manual.

Truthfully the best bang for buck Porsche you can buy IMO is a 02-04 C4S.. so long as IMS fix is complete and the owner didn't drive the car like a total pussy, should be very reliable. I feel like the driving experience of the TT is no better than the C4S.

... but neither one is a GT3, and GT3 is just so good it hurts.
i would hate to be that poor soul who purchases a 996TT and forever lives in regret because it's only good for straight line pulls. it'll probably be a horrible driver experience on a race track.

That seems fishy, saying it only needs an hour or two of work when parked right behind it is a older MR2... I betcha that motor is toast and he's saying that so someone will buy it and then he can use the "I didn't know" if someone calls him out after.

Track days with a dull engine sound seem like awfully dull track days to me... the TT sounds like a hair dryer.

wish you used this image instead

but yeah, i wont deny that the GT3 sounds absolutely fantastic. the TTs are the cruisers in the line up so they likely will be quieter and more hair dryer-ish...

that's not to say that once opened up it'll still sound like one... or take away from the driving experience.

but, i havent had the pleasure of trying one out on the track yet so i'm just going by gut feeling aka DA INTERNETZ.

997TT = Touring car
GT3 = Race car

Each have there place. Comfort with gobs of mundane power or lightweight, agile with raw grunt N/A power. Both spectacular and both too expensive for me

Rule one of 3SGTE club is there is no such thing as a cheap fix if maintenance has been neglected. For someone that DIY's it might be a decent deal, but I know there's no way it's "an hour or two" from being finished as you'd spend most of that just burping the coolant.
