He's been trying to sell that thing forever. I tried to look at it and he's really unorganized and a douche bag.

Eventually the seller got an offer and edited the post saying "Current offer is xxxx don't call me if you can't beat it" and now it's back up after 6 months.

I checked it out in March and commented on it in post #5218.

I wanted to buy it but said he was working on a trade for a g35. Contacted him week or two later and he said car is gone. Location in ad is different, could be the new owner but the contact number is the same as the original seller.

zilley 06-27-2015 09:43 PM

^how could it be new owner and contact number be the same..?

the "appropriate", fair, right, correct price is whatever the buyer is willing to pay and the amount the seller is willing to sell for. Although I do agree s2k prices are overinflated

You hit it right on the nail.lol

On the upside i ran the VIN and its a clean title. I didnt bother to see it in person because didn't wanna be tempted to pick it up and i needed a break on the famous burning oil of the honda motors. haha

Oh please. There are far worse efforts on craigslist and there are kids dying in Japan.

Please support them by buying their Drift DVD's and Titanium kleenex holders.

I don't get it I thought all Honda burn oil especially the older ones. There are older Honda that don't burn oil?

Clear your damn notifications!

As long as it's not burning obscene amounts of oil I wouldn't be worried. If someone's finally selling an S2000 with a clean title for a realistic price a little oil burning wouldn't scare me off.

My buddy is selling his AP1. Low KM for the year. Never driven in the winter. I would buy it if I had the funds.

Seems like there is no demand for people buying an ap1 for 20k. And rebuilt one for 15k. Hopefully it will tank back to 12 to 15k. :toot: so I can get one

that black one has been on and off cl since i started looking. there's gotta be a reason why it hasnt been sold at that price, even though high kms.

years ago, my friends canadian yellow ap2 had problems selling for 17k. it would be gone in a minute these days.

Looked at this car over the winter.

Car is really clean on cleanliness. Engine had been replaced and has 30k less than chassis. Previous motor was boosted. Started without hesitation while in storage, battery is hooked up to a tender.

AP2 F+R bumpers. Rear end accident and a other claims all around for fenders. Both front fenders replaced. Very scratched front bumper.

I think there was a 10k+ claim for the rear ender because the whole car was repainted. There's a hole in the passenger seat as well.

Price is fair compared to other current AP1s for sale. It's a clean title after all. Would be a great track car.
