This might be the same one on CL for over 4 months now (if it has 200+ k and is in a british racing green-ish colour)

My friend, you clearly have not spent any time in a Saab :failed:

I think it's blue, i recently saw a CL post with the exact content but with blue photos. Montego blue to be exact, but it didn't show the dent and i couldn't see a BC plate either. From what he told me before, the car is not currently insured so i would definitely ask for reg papers first before going any further (could be a possibility that it wasn't imported correctly).

^If that volvo v70 has a manual transmission, it would be near perfect.

Hah. Thanks.

I went to test drive that Allure today. I never noticed the massive yellow Billsteins :sweetjesus:

Almost 13" rotors up front :sweetjesus:

The car loves its traction control but that was probably my foot's fault

Now I sit here and debate to trade my Regal GS in for it:considered:

I love how the seller is in the photo (assuming he is the seller)

GS8, is it FWD or RWD?

FWD

Would be interesting at the track but it's a pretty awesome street / show cruiser. The sound of that LS4 :sweetjesus:

dared3vil0 06-19-2014 09:13 PM

LS4 + FWD?

Did it torque steer as badly as i expect it did, or is that a baseless rumour curtesy of FWD haters?

Wasn't badly. This particular car was tuned by the GM Performance Division and I'd say they did a great job considering what GM gave them. I should have disengaged the T/C to test the launch abilities.

The torque steer is there but most people exaggerate its effects on the car especially at launch just as fodder to knock it for being FWD. I mean if you put no hands on the wheel and floor the gas pedal, yes the wheel will go crazy.

BUT if you hold the wheel as you properly should, at most you might get a bit of a shudder but the car will go. Shitty tires don't help either. I can say the factory 0-60 time of 5.7 sec is pretty accurate.

westopher 06-20-2014 09:13 AM

Looks good^
Especially given the current e36 M3 market. Prices have gone UP. People are starting to realize what a bargain they are and deciding to make them not a bargain again haha.

SB7 06-20-2014 09:26 AM

very tempting, only wish it was estoril blue

westopher 06-20-2014 09:29 AM

There is a member on here selling his estoril blue e36, however its 2.5k more with 70k more on the clock and a U.S. import. I got SUCH A GOOD DEAL on my e36.:fullofwin:

No, I think the URL was changed slightly

2008 Buick Allure for sale at Preston Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Ltd Langley BC

Unrelated but spotted this

1966 Pontiac Grande Parisienne 2 door sport .

Very clean

Lowered_Klass 06-20-2014 11:20 AM

GS8, please buy that Allure. It needs to go to a proper home.

That's been listed for over a month now. I'm quite surprised this is still available. Although it's an intermediate body, it still looks like a really solid car and a good buy. The fact that it's being sold by the original owner w/ protectoplate and a rebuilt motor, only make it more appealing.

Haha. Thanks.

Just debating if I can part with my Regal. Has 77,000 orig. KM with intake / exhaust / sway bars / tower brace upgrades.

Plus I own the car outright.

But I love rare cars. Can't own both.

:concentrate:

dared3vil0 06-20-2014 11:40 AM

Hmm... Is your G8 the one with a V8?
