If we have to, overnight parts from Japan.

Considering how overpriced an R34 GTR is to begin with, $75k for a fully built 700HP one isn't too bad. There's no way you could build something close to that for the price.

2008 Honda Civic si (sedan)

Decent price for a clean FA5 with OEM aero kit. I recall this vehicle being sold at OpenRoad Honda around 2012 (as the owner states in the ad) for around $12k, having much lower mileage at the time.

Pantera doesn't even need a 302 + T5 swap because it already runs a small block Ford

Does anyone have an idea how these cars are in regards to reliability as well as the prices these cars go for?

I find this with many North American cars from the 2000's. Parts are silly cheap too.

Not like those damn European cars!:heckno:

i looked into importing one once, that price is pretty fair. reliability is a concern, its an oddball engine and its tuned for jap gas.

Seems like a decent deal.

Hoping it sells soon, it's dragging the TL-S market down :smug:

flagella 07-05-2015 08:37 PM

Missing mileage info? lol @ 300+ horsepower.

Oh, and fuck morons who post their ads all in caps.

LP700-4 07-05-2015 09:19 PM

Did an autocheck on it, Ontario car, reported 150k km mileage in 2010 so probably nearing 200k by now. Guy probably thinks his intake gives him 20hp or something lol.

TL-S market surprisingly good still given age of car haha. A couple super mint ones have popped up for low 20s all the way up to mid 20s for the 6MT unicorn still up now.

That explains it. I messaged the person back in May, mileage was indicated at 163,000km.

Good chance the transmission is about to go with that mileage.

I almost got one of these instead of my Stag. I really like the look of them, and I had a USDM Legacy wagon before this car, so it would have been an easy transition. Lots of parts would be interchangeable, but what dissuaded me was the bespoke twin-turbo engine for this car.

I like the idea of a fast Legacy, but for one I read it had bad turbo lag problems, but also ALL engine parts would come from Japan.

At least my Stagea has an RB25 Neo, and lots of parts are available state-side, new and used.

thumper 07-06-2015 07:45 AM

will this qualify for collectors plates? not JDM:
