Every car dude needs to own or at least borrow an S2000 at some point in their life
AP1 preferred, 9k redline, precision 6-speed, wind in your hair baby, woo!
( Just don't modify it because you'll be replacing differentials )

( Just don't modify it because you'll be replacing differentials ) | More like every car guy in North American should slim down to fit in a S2000. This continent would be a better place.

Why hasn't someone bought this yet???? lol http://www.revscene.net/forums/70409...-vtec-b16.html
Just as much top-down fun as S2k + added comfort of targa + 1/3 the price.

^ i've seen that car around...probably one of the cleanest del sol's
hopefully it goes to a honda enthusiast and not some N driver who'll blow the engine on the second day of ownership.
i'd buy it as weekend car...if i had the money

I'd ditch the 16 inch wheels, and run 13's with R-comps at PR on Sept 4?

And then the balance of the car is totally off -- there is practically no weight in the back. The B pillar also blocks much of your sideways visibility.
But that targa top, the fully retractable rear window, and most important of all, that B16 and the noises it makes...
I am really not sure how the car will drive at the track, but there is only one way to find out, right?

A rear cage will add some weight in the back, and stiffen the wet noodle to atleast al dente.

While true they are a bit wet noodle ish, you won't have any less fun... You'll just be a little slower... Which IMO doesn't really matter at "our" level.

They need their race cars stripped!
They need the big canards!
The big wing!
Last minute track day performance shop visit!
They need the bucket seats with the harnesses!
Shit is some serious time attack! |

IIRC this was a lower mainland car that sold for like 4k and then went up to Abby or chilliwak and it sat, then it was listed for 1k for some reason.

Don't know much about these cars but I've always thought they look sweet. Might not be a bad deal for a harder to find car.
