Even though the mileage is a tad high, they're getting more affordable

1993 Honda Civic Del Sol Si Targa Top * Vtec/5Spd * Modified,Must Go

1993 Honda Civic Del Sol Si Targa Top * Vtec/5Spd * Modified,Must Go - $3000

don't buy it. lying seller. Fake Bride seats. Fake Work wheels. Fender is so damaged icbc would prob write it off. That's probably why he didn't claim a hit and run.

had my car for a little over a year now. It has been very very reliable. My ap1 s2000 actually gave me more problems. Only thing i did was reinforce the subframe at tss #truestory

also that imola m3 was listed for 18g not too while ago... i guess the guy is getting desperate

nsx042003 07-19-2015 11:55 PM

Nothing worst then driving over to the car...to find it wasn't a type R swap...i don't know if the guy didn't know or just straight up lying. I told him but he denies it and says it's an R engine. Stay away from this i guess... unless you are okay with a GSR swap

2000 civic sir/dc2 R

the stamp on the head is p72, and tranny is s4c, probably from a sir-g (jdm GSR)...if it WAS a JDM engine.

Looks like a big hit to the fender. I bet the wheels may be damaged and the alignment might be off as well. Good luck sourcing oem fenders they are pretty hard to come by. Definitely not worth the hassle

GSR intake manifold gives it away.

Red valve cover makes him think its a R motor :lawl:

98 Honda Civic HB CX with H22 swap

The strange thing is is that it's way more of a hassle to type like that.

Cheap, running pos 944 open to offers. Could make a fun/nice beater
86 944

Traum 07-20-2015 10:37 AM

Came across this while I was browsing:

1983 Mustang Boss 302

http://images.craigslist.org/00T0T_h...jF_600x450.jpg

Recently built (seller claiming <10k km) with lots of old skool high performance parts. Pretty damn sure the seller has sunk far more into the car than his asking price.

Not my cup of tea, to be sure. But it looks like it is quite a clean built.

fliptuner 07-20-2015 10:46 AM

I like how it's advertised as a Boss302 when the only thing they have in common is the cam specs.

Oh i'm not surprised with reliability its just when those preventative things start coming up like the cooling system or just swapping brakes etc (the small little things) specifically for an m3 versus any other e46 models the high cost for an older car does start to get annoying.

I noticed the red painted trim in this one, is this the same one you saw for 18g? I'd suspect maybe the SMG pump is starting to fail if he wants it out of here

Nothing more expensive than a cheap Porsche. I made that mistake a long time ago.

You want a 944, wait for a nice one and pay the money. Trust me.

godwin 07-20-2015 02:25 PM

It is 5 speed.. but it say it needs timing belt, did it break? 944 has interference valve design.

If you're serious get a PPI at Jakobs, may be worth it but I don't get a good feeling from the ad. Why not take some pics of the interior or spend 30 minutes cleaning your damn car and write a little bit more useful information to draw in your potential buyers?
