Out of curiousity, what's so special about that Buick Allure?
The Regal?
Not exactly my cup of tea, but I'm guessing it's the price + low mileage.
Decently equipped mid size sedan, MSRP for $35k+. Only 3 certified used ones on GM.ca.
1) 2011, 112k km, $16,500
2) 2012, 33k km, $21,600
3) 2012, 24k km, $29,900
Ad was a 2011 model, 22.6k km, asking for $15,900.
It's an okay price but you can go buy a certified pre-owned for about $4000 more. The warranty alone is already worth more than $4000. And you have to clean up the stupid wrap and black wheels

The Allure, aka the LaCrosse in the states, was a Super model, which has a Small block V8 LS4 motor 0-60 in 5.7 secs, with modified sport suspension and other performance goodies: Buick LaCrosse - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

^edit: sonick beat me
under the hood of that Buick allure is a 5.3L V8 engine which makes it a rare car.
You can say it's a semi-sleeper car since 0-60 is around 5.7 seconds and most people don't expect Buick to be fast.
you can watch a full tour of the car plus exhaust here:

Thanks. Sorry, I didn't click far back enough to see there was an actual post on the Allure.
In NA 2001 is Integra, 2002 is RSX
Across the pond, both DC2R and DC5R was made.
Most likely a B18 though. I highly doubt someone would go through the troubles of doing a Kswap, yet alone fork out the extra money for a K20a over an a2 or k24, and keep the exterior looking like that.
I spent a year looking for a V8 but after running into too many high priced ones at dealers and Grey hair flippers I said fuck it and went after the first nice one I'd find. Found one without the leather and was sold.
