hate those vague ass ads tho...

asma123 07-27-2015 11:18 PM

Lol I do too but it's usually a good deal since they just want to get rid of it asap. You got nothing to waste to go check it out just make sure you are familiar with the vehicle common issues and have a good idea what to look for

Ad seems fake and trying to drop s2k prices. Did anyone actually buy/see it?

ree666 07-28-2015 12:01 AM

it includes license plate in pic and gives you his phone number, give it a call and you will find out if its fake.

Interior 9/10

Maintenance required light ON.

Wasn't Idling smooth.

Drove straight, No wheel vibration at high speeds and engine pulled HARD.

Seller was 3rd owner, said the car was sitting for years and said something along the lines that this was the first one in BC ???

Unlikely.

westopher 07-28-2015 09:20 AM

By the time it happens all of them will have been purchased by people in the states enjoying their 30% off sports car sale from all of Canada.

The GT3 that I have been eyeing since last year jumped up in price by 18% when the cdn dollar tanked, sold.
I'm willing to be it sold to the US. :rukidding:

westopher 07-28-2015 09:31 AM

Yep. I've given up hope on picking up any new (old) fun car. Prices are just fucking crazy for EVERYTHING. I probably won't seriously be able to look until 2-3 years from now:QQ:

Ive been actively looking and waiting for more than a damn yr. I know you pay for what you get, so avoid the beat up ones but damn the prices are getting ridiculous for clean ones. As westoph said, doesnt help that the CAD will be tanking for a longtime

Quite the fun cars, had a buddy who owed it so I had the chance to work on them and they all average like 10k nowadays.

Can be a daily driver, comes with a nice sound system with a huge subwoofer stock from the factory. Leather everything, including their really nice bucket seats and a sunroof.

Or could be turned to a nice track car, I've seen it shed in 2-3 hours to be a low 5 second car, comes with a v6 with a nice transmission and some performance parts carried over from the Mitsubishi Evo.

haha true, but it's not bad though for a 10 year old design, they stuck a bunch of leather and the front dash piece is soft touch.

What a lot of people dont know is it has the same curb weight of roughly 3200 as a 350z.

When we put it on a diet we estimated roughly 400-500 pounds gone, it has potential with its 3.8l V6 pushing 270hp.

Very underratted car, which is also why it's so cheap.

westopher 07-28-2015 11:48 AM

Although I just bitched about how the dollar is so in the shit, I know some of you guys around here make $USD, or maybe have some USD stashed away.
This thing is awesome, as far as I know about Honda's, which is absolutely nothing other than the fact I know I like ITR's and NSX's.
