buy that cayman instead. if you want it to be dark grey so bad, you could always wrap it down the road. IMHO, the white on that car looks damn good though.

I do admit. Its a smoking deal. There are so many caymans sitting in the high 40's that haven't been moved in a year. This guy priced it correct, if not a little low.

You need to buy it so you can be one of few people who actually bought something from this thread.

I think we just cleared the 2% mark

Seems like a lot of car for the money. There's $500 oem wheel setups perfect for a track set on CL too.

Not sure if CL post is real or not:

ugh. fuck craigslist.

JDMDreams 08-02-2015 03:57 PM

Are m3s even worth it? I mean people ask 13 to 18 for them at the end of the day no matter how well its maintained it's a old bmw with at least 150 kms. I see a lot of parts are pretty much end of life. suspension. bushings. cooling and random bits like lock aucuator and window motors. I easily see another couple thousand in work

i-vtecyo 08-02-2015 04:18 PM

Anyone know how many cars an individual can sell per year without needing a dealer license or ppl showing up at their doors asking questions?

StanleyR 08-02-2015 04:35 PM

not sure about BC, but I think in Sask it was something like 3 or 5

With German cars, you have to pay to play whether it's at the start (high cost of entry) or used (catch-up maintenance).

The E46 M3 is "special" because it has a naturally-aspirated inline-six with a chassis and styling that are still fairly true to BMW's roots. The E46 is really the last chassis that can be maintained by a hobbyist without significant investment in special tools.

Is it a car for someone who wants an M3 just because? No. However, it's a car for someone who understands BMWs and has the time/money it requires to keep it running as one of the best cars of a generation.

One owner Jeep Wagoneer for $1500. It'd be a fun road trip truck.

My love-hate of CL is sharply declining into the red lately. I just don't understand fake posts. Can you really harvest enough email addresses to sell them on? Or is it strictly attempted manipulation of the market? Do these guys think suddenly all Cayman's are going to drop by 10k because of a post?

My bad guys - I posted this car even though it broke my no visible BC plate rule.

TouringTeg 08-02-2015 06:50 PM

^ My guess would be that they are trying to set a new low so they can get a different Cayman at a lower price. "Look there is a white one on CL for way cheaper than yours..."

Code Red I posted that M3 cab a few pages back. It's been on the market for a while now.

Too good to be true so might be another fake AD, but if it's real $20k AP2 is pretty sweet.

underscore 08-02-2015 09:09 PM

Porsches and S2K's almost need their own thread given how many are fakes.

Do you like driving? Its 3/4s the fun of a 911 at half the price with 2x the practicality. Turn your own wrenches most of the time and they aren't expensive, or complicated.

He also changed PCA (Porsche Club of America) to PDC which I originally assumed Performance Drivers Club here in the Lower Mainland (Home | Performance Drivers Club). Fooled me at first, but I knew the ad was too good to be true.

With the way the Canadian dollar is going, I can only imagine Porsches in the local/Canadian market appreciating.
