I'm going to be down there at the end of the month, if it's still there I'll take a look.... I owned a 06 Z4 3.0si before but it was unfortunately automatic.... And I've always like the coupe styling. |
I'll unfortunately be in Edmonton at the end of the month as well haha. I always dread the trips back home. Maybe save one of those from that dump of a cities roads lol. |

Although the Z4M doesn't look as unique at the Z3M coupe, they drive infinitely better than the Z3M coupe.... |

2002 BMW M3 Convertible Went to go take a look at the white M3 cab @ Blitzkrieg Motorcars. Took it for a spin and god damn it's addictive to drive. Current mileage on the car is 181,000km roughly. Few declarations on the car. Year 2003 - THEFT FROM VEHICLE $9000+ (Slashed soft top, replaced with new one) Year 2008-2009 - COLLISION - Rear End About $4000 Another one too but forgot what it was Inspection sheet from Blitzkrieg -Slightly bent rear tow arm, but drives straight -minor oil leak from oil filter seal -cruise control doesnt work -right side power mirror doesnt work My Visual Inspection: -Currently equipped with the E46 M3 19 inch wheels with a bit of curbage on one of the wheels -Does have rock chips on the hood as expected -Couple rock chips on driver side a pillar, saw a tiny bit of surface rust on the chips -barely any wear and tear on the top, looks new -drive side bolster shows some wear The Drive I could not believe how easy it was to drive. The exhaust is pretty addictive. Like some of the members mentioned here, the cab model is gonna flex a lot more compared to the coupe, which I felt during the drive. Also typical creeks and noises being that it is a 10+ year old car. Smiles per gallon definitely high with this car. If you can accept all the minor cosmetics and flaws, as well as the mileage, definitely should take a look at this m3 |

Those Z4M are so tempting. Future classics. Possibly the beginning of Albertans selling off their toys and assets. |
just brought in a M roadster onto inventory at work... theyre addicting to drive. true, simplistic driver's cars. Safe to say, they are the last of the mechanical feeling BMW M's. |

Based on what you've reported, this is what I personally consider "normal." The oil leak is very likely the seal which at some point in time will require replacing (it's a BMW feature.) Suspension work requiring maintenance - normal. The odd bits and pieces - acceptable for the most part. For the price, it could be a steal if you want to put some time, effort, and/or money into it. Then again, I would never buy a cabriolet in Vancouver, so... :fuckthatshit: |
2004 WRX STI canadian car no accidents not sure if too good to be true. i wouldnt mind an 04' GDB STi for this price! |

But then throw in maybe one sentence about the actual car itself and information that may be relevant to an actual buyer. Like maintenance history and vehicle condition like heres the ad, with the useful information highlighted in red. black text being useless bs Quote:

US vehicle. Lots of rock chips and cracked paint on front and rear bumper, window rubbers all cracked and worn, chrome trim is faded, nav display is offset in screen, CEL on for secondary's, plastic piece under windshield wipers is cracked, ripped passenger seat, car phone plastic broken, cup holders broken. Owner is an older guy, not very negotiable. Not insured, couldn't test drive. |
When people get wary of a car because of us import especially when it comes to a e39 m5 ... need to think about how many of them were actually sold in Canada. 694 Finding one that is Canadian spec is unicorn like status. GOOD LUCK |
