On the plus side it had the timing chain + timing guides replaced + new windshield.
Im pretty sure the car was a bank repo, and it looked poorly maintained for its year, I have the accident history hiding somewhere if anyone is interested.

Later I found out it was a friend who sold him the ITR for $5000 and told him the engine needs to be (at the very least rebuilt with a new crankshaft), but most likely needed swap.
So buyer beware.

If all it needs is a crank pulley, i'd still be starting it up to see if it runs. Could even do a compression test on the spot. I don't see the harm in doing either of those. But how does a crank pulled get damaged? I'd be worried about the crank too.

probably the same problem i had before in my old ITR.
the key way on the crank got chipped and the pulley is free spinning.
