It would seem that the Buick Allure has been sold
If an RS member bought it, I will perform fellatio on the nearest living thing

I had a 1999 as recently as 1 year ago with slightly less mileage and a REBUILT title that I easily sold with multiple buyers offering at $7,500. This one is the best (and last) year of this bodystyle.
In the USA they're all selling for $6-9k USD with similar mileage... low mileage ones still go for $12k+
$6k is a screaming deal for that car if it hasn't had a huge accident or something. Also, calling it a re-badged Camry (not you personally) is doing a great disservice to the vastly improved workmanship that went into the ES... the Camry is a rattle-trap by comparison.

| Volkswagen beetle 1969 for parts - 500
"Just drove her from kelowna and had electric choke issues.
- discovered that there are several structural problems with that I cannot
Afford to fix, was deemed unsafe to drive so I am getting rid of it. "
From the exterior alone, looks like it would be realllly good for parts

Thanks for that. Called and emailed. Hopefully he will hold the car with a small deposit until I get back from Quebec. I'll bet I can guess exactly where the structural issues are, and both my 1975 and 1969 bugs can benefit from the parts.
Fortunately the '71 Rally bug doesn't need anything!

That Cobra, just from the pictures, definitely has some issues / unfinished business. $25k is probably high. $18-20k is my guess, depending on the running gear condition and overall fit and finish.
Knowing who made the kit panels makes another huge difference I haven't accounted for. A Factory-Five or other well-known, accurate, kit will be worth a buy. A no-name kit could drop the value 5-10k if it's poorly replicated.

Re: The Cobra - Missing the lower leg. They have a joint there normally. One of the things I noticed in the "issues or unfinished items" list.

p.s. That beetle sold about 4:45pm this evening. Someone offered him $800 for it, and was driving to pick it up. I missed it due to being out of town in Quebec

The only Cobra replicas I really like are Kirkhams, as they really pay tribute to the originals.
The VW could see the road again, a frame crack isn't that big of a deal.

I know Factory Five's products are excellent quality, but the fiberglass body is a big deal.
For lack of better words, the fiberglass body feels like a shelby rip-off. The aluminum body, though, feels like a continuation of the original shelby.

Sounds like pans and lower a-pillars are rotten, which means the heater channels are as well. Based on what he's told me and the photos, it's not unrestorable, it's just not likely to be economically reasonable to restore it.
Buyer who arrived apparently doesn't understand "unsafe to drive" and thus passed on it. I've made my offer and he's holding the car for me until either a) he accepts my offer, or b) passes. Here's hoping! My '75 is solid where his isn't, and rotten where his is. Would be nice to combine the two for one solid car.

| 2001 Mazda Protege MP3 edition Only 127,000 KM
Rare Protege MP3 - I think this is the one that drives by my office once in a while. If it is then it's in great shape. I miss my Protege 5 dearly, what a ball to drive.

Slowest car in the group by a mile but I'm pretty sure it didn't finish last. I might have that issue of Road and Track at my parents.

| Not a good buy, I just wanted to warn anyone interested. The seller claims it's 180k on the body and engine, but I checked aircare and it showed 452,000kms in 2012. 1998 honda civic 5spd 180k |
