For that year and mileage, youre probably looking more like 12k or so, depending on history of the vehicle.

02 or 03 are the better valued ap1. Good luck

bossha 08-31-2015 02:59 PM

Ahh i see.. Wasn't really aware of the S2K market and how overpriced they all are right now..

I'll stick to my e46 M3 hunting instead.

Thanks for the heads up guys

17k is overpriced, but 12K is wishful thinking for a non-rebuilt AP1 w/ 113K and would be sold instantly

A few years ago I would have said this AP1 is over priced. The S2000 market has changed this then.

Demand has increased and supply has gone down. People are holding on to them. There are two AP2's that live near my folks. The owners have had them for years and don't ever plan to ever sell.

We are also stuck with the inventory in Canada thanks to the rise of the US dollar. Not to mention it is more difficult to purchase privately in the US.

I would buy as many as I could like this for 12k. They are future collector cars and a blast to drive while enjoying price appreciation.

Not really that good of a buy, but worth posting because it's so beautiful. I emailed with some questions but never got a response http://vancouver.craigslist.ca/nvn/ctd/5096704429.html

Edit: this one would probably be a better buy price wise http://nanaimo.craigslist.ca/cto/5189069297.html

If it was free I would consider it. Thats about as much as I'd pay for the hassle of a half million k rebuilt e34.

:notbad:

nice beater.

Walk by this car every day. Its not perfect, but if you want to diy a couple things it would be awesome. Front M3 bumper is in primer. I'd just rattle can it with a can of diamondshwarz that you can get from paintscratch and sand and spray the minor rust on the quarters at the same time.

Kinda doesn't look like Vancouver in the photos to me though... could be wrong.

Proceed with caution.

The interior seems wrong. Maybe it's the seat pattern? Something is giving me the off feeling and it doesn't look like my other friends e39 m5's
