Loser with "feeler" ads, man up and put a price or throw it on eBay and wait for Enthusiast Auto Group to buy it like they do every other 2003 M5.

LEXUS RX300

Will take $2500 maybe less

godwin 08-31-2015 10:51 PM

Mine has that interior.. as does the one used in Clive Owen + Madonna's short.

I think it has been misrepresented though as the VIN indicate it is a 00 M5 instead of 03.

Of course he got it cheap, that's why he's selling it cheap. Look up sub $2k cars in Van and NewWest and you'll find at least 8 cars from him.

The way he wrote his phone # down is usually what curbers do, I should've known. Still, 95 Integra 1k, not bad....

I guess 996 price really went up...

I bought a cheap one a few months ago, and his list of work is basically what I have to do. The costs stack up so fast. This one seems well sorted. The only real downer for me is I think you could get one for the same money with less miles on it - primarily for resale reasons if you just wanted to try one of these for a summer.

20k all-in would be my number.

GabAlmighty 09-01-2015 06:25 PM

That porsche is a good deal for sure. I bet you could source aftermarket panels for pretty cheap.

I was thinking 5k would be a decent deal too.. But you'd still need to know how to do bodywork or at least have a guy to do it for cheap.

Good excuse to do a 997 front end conversion:

That's the only thing that would be worrisome. But even there, if you get it $5k. You could probably have it all back together for less than $10k. Make a good excuse to have a track car you can beat on.

tofu1413 09-01-2015 07:23 PM

Strip it. make it drive straight. GT3 wannabe drift car for under 15k! :lawl:
