If a guy is willing to put sunfire seats in a Porsche, you have to wonder what other stupid shit did he do? Lol!

TouringTeg 09-03-2015 07:24 PM

Already sold! Strange car but it was a steal if it hasn't been butchered.

^ Cheap beater that is good on gas, personally I'd haggle down to maybe 12-1400

its a high mileage 323 auto that also needs an alignment. not really an amazing deal to me.

thanks for your input, but I honestly don't have the time to do everything. If you notice in my post, I mentioned I am moving to Edmonton, so the move is what takes up most of my time. Other than that, I also mention the cons were quite minor, issues I thought might be somewhat a concern for potential buyers. The door hinge thing isn't even really noticeable and never really bothered me. Asking price and OBO is the game, what saves me time could save you money.

Cheers

Ah.. friend's car, looks good in person and has a few pricey goodies iirc. Definitely took it past 4k rpm lol, we went on a cruise once or twice. I hear he maintains it well though. Not saying it's a good buy or a bad buy, just want to contribute what I can

Oh hey you're on revscene :) very clean car, hope it goes fast. Don't see too many e46's that clean with tasteful mods and at a low price too

Considering that I regularly rev over 4k rpm in order to keep up with traffic and pass trucks/slow drivers on my daily commute, I would have to call BS on that one. These motors make very little low-end power...

Limitless 09-04-2015 05:02 PM

I could keep my dc2 gsr under 4k on my daily commutes pretty easily, but then again I drove it pretty calm and slow unless I went out deliberately for a spirited drive. I remember with the greddy evo3 catback and high flow cats the gsr had 2 different vtec switchover sounds lmao

Mr.Money 09-04-2015 05:05 PM

lies...who the hell doesn't want to hear that VTEC!!!

Butterflys open at like 5800 iirc? Man I loved my gsr's. I've had 3 of those and 3 DC5'S and it's a tough choice as to which I like better. But nowadays people are asking way too much for a gsr, you can usually get an rsx-s for the same if not +-500

Looks like a stunner, but will end up being about $992000000 CND after exchange rate and taxes.

fliptuner 09-05-2015 05:49 AM

LOL.

Wouldn't it under $60K CAD, shipped, inspected and reg'd?

Nah. It's just an LS. If it had +200k (which is typical), it'd be well under $2k. It has 1/4 rust, bumper scuffs and a scrape on the rear 1/4 behind the door. The only thing the price reflects is the mileage and now that Aircare is gone, it's difficult to confirm it's authenticity (cause you know the guy never made ICBC claims on that thing lol).
