I always thought the Y34 styling was really unique, and some VIP Fuga's out of Japan are really cool looking IMO. Classy AF. The one posted by TouringTeg is a bit extreme VIP; here are a couple more to my taste:

Yes

Considering I owned a Pontiac G8, a Y34 would be perfect for me. I absolutely loved Infiniti's marketing for it as well. They called it the 'Japanese Muscle Car'.

V8, RWD, 300+ HP

They even gave honourable mention to the pillarless doors which was huge in the 60s and 70s.

Unlike many new cars, this one will age nicely. Very much like the Lexus LS. People don't understand that edgy styled cars will just look ugly when styles change but a 'vanilla' styled car will age gracefully.

I want this car badly but life comes first

:okay:

SpartanAir 09-24-2015 11:34 PM

^ I agree. The design looks slightly dated but still classy. Like a W124 Benz for example; yeah you know it's early-mid 90s, but they still turn heads and are a classic, sold design. If I ever get another sedan I'm looking for a Y34. Maybe even bring in a Fuga from Japan.

But it's #wagonlife for me right now. Don't know how I could live without a wagon :fullofwin:

Looking for a car for the wife, any recommendations or finds is appreicated. Looking for "luxury" japanese (Lexus, Acura), no euros. Have around $16k to blow, prefer RWD or AWD, but FWD will suffice. Color pref: black, grey, or white. Black leather interior, She will drive manual if she needs to :fullofwin: but prefers auto lol

wouldnt say thats a great deal, theyre usually well under 20k, plus they have major rear axle issues.

Windshield is full of small rock chips, and I think I saw a light crack.

Honestly, i'd avoid this car if your in the market for one of these. I'd rather pay a couple thousand more to get a cleaner vehicle.

This one might be decent. Relatively unmolested and has a matching hard top as well. Minimal rust it seems.

^^ my coworker has a 2013 of that car but auto and in metallic grey. It's really nice actually. I was skeptical when he got it but nah man, it's sick. Maintenance might be a bit higher in the future with a 280ish hp 2.0t, 20" rims and brembo brakes etc. But really eye grabbing ride on the street

vitaminG 09-26-2015 01:19 PM

that buick is pretty cool, but its going to take a special type of buyer to pick that up.

poor guy mustve gotten hosed on the trade in value too, 40k car and he probably got less than 20. bet he wished he got that acura instead

StanleyR 09-26-2015 04:27 PM

If that buick had a benz/bmw roundel on it, I wouldn't think twice

TouringTeg 09-26-2015 09:10 PM

Family has a black Buick Regal GS as well. I found the rear seat head room is not great if you are 6' tall. Great car to drive though.

Ugly as sin but real potential. And how often do you see an 83 Starion come up for sale! $1500
