Agreed. I viewed a SSM 05 a week or two ago where the seller was listing it for 27-28k claiming it is worth it due to it being the last year of DBW, and having 0 accidents. Went to see it in person and it was clear as day the passenger side fender and bumper were replaced due to an accident (missing VIN sticker and you can see it was re-painted after popping the hood). The seller then says that 'oh, the owner's or owner's girlfriend got in a very minor fender bender'.... I THOUGHT YOU SAID NO ACCIDENTS :2finger::2finger::2finger::fulloffuck::facepalm:

You mean last year of throttle cable :). Ya totally feel you there.

Just a few years ago before I bought my 993, RS member Hondatech old his minty red NSX with bronze 18" TE37. I think it was about 35k.

Of course it is a steal compared to a 98 C2S with 68kms for $127,900. Wouldn't you rather enjoy an R8 or GT3 rather than look at it in the garage and speculate on values?

If I hadn't just bought a placed and moved out I would be thinking extremely hard about that bodyman special 911 for $7k. Good winter project and could probably have it all back together cheaply, and then you have a track car you don't care about abusing.

This. Once upon a time I had a 35-40K budget for a clean NSX... had kids instead. Best. Decision. Ever? :lol

Lol. Whoever pays that is a genuine idiot for that 993. I'm the fanboiest of fanbois but there are countless 993s out there for half of that if you know how to type rennlist classifieds into your Google search bar. I have seen turbos selling for that recently with a few more miles on them.

68style 10-03-2015 01:22 AM

I remember back in the day we used to laugh at motherfuckers driving a Carrera cuz they couldn't afford no Turbo but still trying to look like they were in the game or debadging that shit to try and play up to it.

The times, they sure have changed.

2004 Acura Tsx white sedan

Manual TSX, clean title and 193k for $6,000. The other 6 speed TSX's around that price are rebuilds with similar or more mileage.

jasonturbo 10-03-2015 06:59 PM

The only reason I bought that NSX when I did is because I am scared the prices are about to go bonkers.

Regardless of the exchange rate, if you're even considering buying an NSX, I would really start looking now before the prices get any higher, and they will.

That is some devaluing of our cars mate.

bluejays 10-03-2015 10:28 PM

Doubt this will last long, very reasonably priced AP2 with somewhat low KM's. Wasn't the old owner on RS?

2007 Honda S2000, Red, Convertible, 106K, 4 Years Free Warranty

swfk 10-03-2015 10:35 PM

I'm gonna guess that was *illegal 's old car sold to deadbea7. If it's a clean title that's a good deal. But iirc it is a rebuild title

Edit: The one I mentioned is a Florida car as well, matching this description. However more than 2 owners, more than one accident according to car proof

"Only 2nd Owner
Originally came from Florida
Had one Accident for $5,850 back in 11/16/2009"
