It truly is one of the ultimate cars. Fast as fuck, handles well and can haul you and 3 friends to whistler comfortably with snowboard gear. Not to mention its absolutely timeless design.

I like to say the M5 is my attainable dream car. It's unlikely I'll ever be able to spend $300-400k on a Ferrari or Lambo but $120k for a M5 is possible with some hard work.

Toss between Corvette & 928 for me...

EDIT!

NOT a good buy but a word of caution

Looks like Trinity Auto is still operating

They had their BBB membership revoked and their dealership has been closed down for some time. The number listed in their ad ^ is the same used in their past listings

Sigh.

Same here. If I weren't getting married in 2 weeks and going away for a month I'd be over at the M5 owner's house by now. I'd need some time to organize the sale of my other cars and that just ain't happening in 2 weeks.

Maaaaaan... That E39 M5 is incredible. Imagine that next to a minty blue (is it Estoril?) E46 M3 sitting in your garage? Now THAT is the definition of a realistic (ish) dream garage.

Is this a good deal? I know nothing about Mercedes other than the 190E (lol)

Detailed Information - Splendid Automobiles Inc.

westopher 07-01-2014 01:21 PM

I wouldn't call it a great deal. Cool find though.

JDMDreams 07-01-2014 02:32 PM

^^ they sure are rare though. I always wanted one looks so clean lowered with decent wheels. The one posted looks like some base model? There is sure a lot of plastic trim

That bmw m5 has been on sale before, I remember the price was way higher the last time as well. It's no doubt one of the best cars that bmw has ever made , timeless design, loads of power and luxury.

No sedan could even touch this car back then and even some now a days. Take it for me, that m5 is worth every penny for that asking price and if you can haggle a bit... hng.

I don't to feel like an elitist but there is reason why I boast m power only, there is something special about the older generations that you can not get in new cars.

My dream garage would be to add a e30 m3, 911 turbo 1975s, gt3rs. Guess I got to make more money D:

I'm even closer to the car - 10 minutes tops. It's close to the lovely Munn Road which would make for a great test drive. Lemme know how I can help (I'm in Victoria for 3 more days before I'm off for my wedding). :)

..and an A4 B6 that is priced fairly (although no sport package) given its mileage, maintenance, and has the RNS-E Navigation retrofitted.

^ oh god why.

no wonder why it hasnt sold yet....

westopher 07-01-2014 10:48 PM

Lets be realistic here though. Adults are great at manipulating kids. Manipulate a good price, save the car from yoloswag. Everybody wins.

tofu1413 07-01-2014 10:52 PM

will find out when I look at that car....

going to feel like this everytime I hop into the car if I do pick it up... :
