but kms went up real quick

It is probably a fake ad, buddy traded the TL plus cash for an EM1 but that's a ridiculously cheap price if the guy is trying to sell it again lol

GLOW 10-05-2015 02:23 PM

maybe he's rolling strictly in tighty whities

The Producer 10-05-2015 02:27 PM

when the PT first came out, we pre-ordered 2 for the computer shop I was working at. One manual, one AT.

Confession: they were awesome. So easy to live with. What was supposed to be work delivery vehicles became impromptu road-trippers, RV's, tailgaters - you name it. Easy to drive, easy to park, easy to pump up an inflatable mattress in the back :jiggy:

I've actually been thinking about picking up a cheap one as a shop beater again.

2001 PT CRUISER

1480 OBO? What are you going to get that's as versatile for that kind of money?

vitaminG 10-05-2015 02:42 PM

^ i remember seeing the original PT cruiser concept in 1999 and it was the coolest thing, kids in highschool were actually talking about how awesome it was at the time.

but i guess retro hadnt been done to death yet back then

tofu1413 10-05-2015 02:42 PM

its basically what a modern civic wagon should be... lol just the styling is.. meh. (they did sell a shit load of them new though)

SpartanAir 10-05-2015 05:54 PM

Yeah PT's are dirt cheap, I'm sure insurance is too, and parts would be so cheap and easy to find. Being a wagon, they would be versatile, basic transportation.

Though I still probably would never go for one :fuckthatshit:

punkwax 10-05-2015 06:23 PM

Isn't a PT just a neon with a different shell?

cdizzle_996 10-05-2015 06:30 PM

Wrong thread!

Mask and all. I wouldn't want to be seen driving a fucking Aztec, after all.

When I used to work at an airplane shop, our shop vehicle was a PT Cruiser. Hated it but at least when I was driving it, I didn't have to look at it. It died a clean death when one of the older guys crashed it.

1989 Chevy Suburban
Seems like a good deal for the price, considering it's had the motor and tranny rebuilt. For some reason I seem to recall these going for much more money than this before. At this price it's a good candidate for a diesel swap to the mpg's back into reality. Either way, I'd still rock it.

^ wrong thread BRAH

SRTOY 10-05-2015 09:19 PM

2000 civic (b18 integra swap)

Saw it in person out of curiosity. Needs a paint job badly, rust on rear quarter lots of dings. No power windows so i doubt it's an ex model. Swap seemed to be running well though.

320icar 10-05-2015 10:15 PM

LOL what shitty pictures. its so not subtle the way he blatantly cuts off the front of the car with either a poorly framed shot, or a fucking bush.

what, you think i wont fucking notice when i come see it in person??

dn53 10-05-2015 10:23 PM

^ i actually loled when i read your comment and clicked on the ad after :lol

I was pretty disappointed too. Mix matched suspension, tires are almost done, turned the car on and a belt was squeeling, it is an LX as the badge is still on there. It definitely needs a paint job, the minor touch ups were a bad idea. Swap looked good though, he did it himself. Car is really low in the front, he should just take the lip off

swfk 10-06-2015 05:13 AM

Lol "80% tires"

Expresso 10-06-2015 09:06 AM

It's too bad, 1999+ Civic Sedans in 5 speed are pretty rare, especially in white. Would buy if it wasn't so haggered.

fliptuner 10-06-2015 09:27 AM

At least I know my EG sedan is worth decent money if I ever sell it.

flagella 10-06-2015 04:22 PM

lol @ that bush pic. Just another dipshit wasting people's time.
