Hmm... I know it says OpenRoad Audi, but it really makes me wonder what the heck the sales dude is doing. It's a black car, and the paint is dirty as fxxk. The description says the interior colour is red, but from the pics I see, it is black / dark gray / gray.

Maybe I should give my buddy Christian a call... :suspicious:

dared3vil0 10-24-2015 09:30 PM

Paint is nasty. Wash the damn thing...

Lol I've never trusted those bs the seller typically spew: "summer driven", " never seen rain", etc.

I was planning to get an S2000 to drive 4 months of the year as my daily and I drive about 3000 km/month. Doesn't take much if you have a long commute.

I'd second this - given the Squamish/Vancouver tag, perhaps that was his/her commute? It's not a terrible one to do..

I was a bit shocked when I moved out east to see friends with 120k kms on a 2012 Civic - A commute from the center of the GTA to one of the edges will do that for you..

I emailed the owner. I think my wife may divorce me if I bought another car.
1997 Integra GSR

This isn't too bad if it only needs a new tranny and you can get the price down a little but.
98 crv
Most good condition running CRV's are still in the $3K and up range.

fliptuner 10-25-2015 06:05 PM

Fuck, I just turfed the auto trans that was attached to the B20 I just pulled.

Good price but I honestly think the LT1 is better used as a coffee table base

2001 BMW Z3 Roadster Convertible
Never seen one with a spoiler before.

westopher 10-25-2015 08:27 PM

That would barely be a good deal if it was an M roadster.

2011 Bmw 1M

Vague ad with no pictures. Possible deal.

Went with a friend to check our the GSR.

First thing we noticed is that the body has been repainted. A bunch of spots have over spray.
Rear quarters are starting to rust. Driver side lower front, the metal is very soft due to rust. Since it wasn't my car, I didn't poke at it to see how deep the rust went.
Right rear had a pretty big dent.
Both front fenders were dented and they tried to push it out.
Missing trim pieces here and there.
Interior, the corner piece that covers the side mirror was loose.
Door inserts were bubbled on both doors.
Front bumper has a pretty nasty gash on it. Big dent on the hood.
Some rust in the usual sports under the car and on the rear toe hook.

Mechanics, he home spray bombed the valve cover read.
Has a coolant leak on the engine side, upper hose. Looks like it may have been leaking for a while as you see dried coolant under the hood.
2 core aluminum radiator.
8000K hids in the stock projectors.
Cat back exhaust, looks like a replica of a greddy exhanst.
Silver coloured shocks with yellow springs. Guessing KYB GR2 shocks with cheapo lowering springs.
Dead interstate battery
Owner said the car had a misfire but when we got there, the car wouldn't start. It'll turn over not signs of it wanting to fire. Could be a bad Dizzy or leaking injector. When we got there, the engine was still warm so it was running before we arrived.

Owner was dead set on $1500 but the car needs to be towed.
Normal status according to ICBC.

If it was earlier in the day and I had my tools on my, I would have pulled the dizzy from my car and tried to restart that guy's car.
If anyone is interested in it, definitely bring some tools. Check for spark and fuel. If it is a simple fix, it's not too bad of a buy. If you need to drop in a new motor, then I say walk away.

I saw this car before the owner who is selling it now..car was blowing lots of smoke that's why I didn't buy it. Exhaust is a yonaka which is not that bad but still you can tell the motor is done. Just to add to these observations

and will someone who is 6'1" fit inside? i still haven't been able to find one someone will allow me to sit inside without having a rabid salesperson attached to my leg :QQ:

Probably explains why the car was parked for 6 months.

Quick observations, the car has 98+ front and rear bumpers and it looks like JDM ITR recaro's.

Good luck with the car.

Hey Thumper, imo, 2006-2010 Cayman S are great value. Definitely get the S with the bigger motor, not much more when buying used. They normally go for $30K to $45K. My buddy is 6ft tall and he has no issue with the seating position. The cayman also handles better than the 911.

tofu1413 10-26-2015 08:45 AM

maybe the same one on kijiji a few months back... that was listed for 9k?
