Car was hit in the front. Current owner doesn't know much about it. Assumes the engine was replaced when the front clip was being repaired. Also spider gear in the trans needs to be replaced.

EDIT: Recaro seats are a bit faded, gas gauge not working, needs lsd replaceed(comes with part). All these issues are from the previous owner. I think I'm gonna pass on this one.

It's definitely a good deal if it hasn't been sold.

The other ITR is a fair deal too.

I'm guessing the car is gone. I've tried to contact him on various forums as well as email to no avail. A pretty sweet deal at $9500USD.

In the sellers defence he posted on some US forums, hence the USD pricing. Probably just copied the text to CL and RS.

My boss had an 06 2.0T, the power delivery felt very poor. Although a chip could fix that.

Even before the tune, the power delivery on my 07 gti was very quick. Was the car AWD or FWD? Quattro drivetrain loss is even more awful than most which may exaggerate the lag.

GTI is a totally different beast for throttle response... I've driven pretty much every 2.0T powered VW and Audi product you can buy and that engine feels downright awful in some of them compared to the GTI which was sublime... I'm looking at you Passat / Tiguan / A4.

I think the price is too high for the unknowns. For that price might as well buy a fully running one.
