Someone could have traded it in as well at miles end. I couldn't give less of a shit about a gt3 having a couple track days under its belt if I was in the market anyways though. That's what its for. Run the dme report and check for overrevs.

trollguy 11-02-2015 10:05 AM

oh no!! a car at the track@@!! (but also partially biased)

Z3guy 11-02-2015 10:13 AM

A GT3 was made for track use, I agree with you guys, however, you would be surprised how many GT3 owners never go to the track. Unless the car is wrapped in the front half, you will always see track day scars on the car...front bumper, wheel wheels, windshield pitted, etc..when you are are asking $200k for a car, remember what the buyer expectations will be......

Traum 11-02-2015 10:20 AM

Quick reminder that if the GT3 is being used at the track on a regular basis, the Center Lock hub is actually a very poor design in terms of long term durability and costs. A 5 lug conversion is actually more durable and cost effective.

But if you are the kind of person that regularly takes a GT3 out for lapping / competition use, you probably know this already.

dared3vil0 11-02-2015 10:53 AM

I wasn't saying it's bad it was tracked, my point was to watch for the over revs everyone talks about checking on those cars... I think I heard the rev limiter once or twice watching it going around.

keep in mind thats a very basic 370z. Nissan released it without options to bring the price down.
No rear spoiler
smaller wheels
lower end tires
very basic interior
No rev match system
etc etc
Id much rather buy a year older used one with all the options for the same price.

Z3guy 11-02-2015 12:52 PM

^ $30K for a brand new Z? seems like a great deal! I would way rather have this over a FRS or BRZ......than again, I do luv torque! that seems almost too cheap.....

Please find me a year older used 370z with
rear spoiler, bigger wheels, high end tires, not so basic interior with rev match system for $30k. I will buy one right now.

Thanks.

Only difference between the base and sports package is the lack of bbk, no rear spoiler, no lsd, no auto revmatching (who cares about that tbh), smaller wheels. Tbh if you're going to mod it, only thing that might be a bit annoying would be the lsd. Interior is exactly the same, unless you get navi or the premium package which comes with half leather heated seats. Again, if you're going to mod it just stick in a deck and aftermarket seats lol, you'll replace everything else anyways. 30k for a new 370z is a steal imo

A nice blank canvas platform to mod.

Damn man. what a time to buy a new tuner car.

I bought one.

Those lower end tires you're talking about, are Advans. Hardly what I would call "low end"

Nobody needs the synchro rev match. The car is so easy to heel toe in. Anybody who can actually drive would not have a problem with it.

The 18"s it comes with are perfect for a track day setup.

It's the enthusiasts package. For a reason. Most of the shit you're complaining about are going to be swappped out anyways.

If you're talking price point, it's still a better buy than an frs. If anybody is actually interested in one, I got mine for less than msrp. 35k taxed in is a steal.

My only gripe is no lsd. But the factory vlsd is shit. Rather save that money and get a cusco.

370Z for $30K is a bargain.
Who will buy used one...

Previous 370Z owners trying to sell are just getting fucked hard. The moment Nissan announced the new pricing for 2016 370Z, they took immediate hit. Good luck selling at a price higher than $30k lol, or even close to that.

Exactly. Gt3 is at home while on track, a couple track days wont hurt it at all.

That car was owned by my friend, and I drove it one session too on that track day. It was a total blast :)

68style 11-02-2015 09:10 PM

Didn't a girl own and track that car?

Stook 11-02-2015 09:22 PM

Nope. There is another blue one owned by a girl that tracked at mission too.
