my dad's car is at penney right now. i asked them about the itr and they confirmed they had repaired it. just minor damage. they said it looked good for its age cosmetically.

what do people think of the price? that transmission will need a rebuild if the buyer wants to keep it... how much to rebuild? $2-3k for new synchros... maybe more for 98specr FD? i don't trust used transmissions when they are this old. and as for the oil consumption, we know all b series vtec engines burn... will need a compression check and plan ahead for an eventual ring job.

If you are looking for a driver it could work out nicely. Personally I would rather have a North American car with the original front end. A car close to stock is appreciating in value and yet you can still enjoy it. Also you could get collector plates if so desired.

Interesting that they just changed the clutch and didn't address the transmission.

2008 M3 4 door, 6spd manual, 169,500 kms. $34,900
If this is a clean title what do you guys think? Too much for the mileage?

for an 08 a tad bit too much imo atleast for the mileage.. ive seen some for the same price with half the mileage

however - it appears he converted the 08 ccc idrive to the 09 cic idrive one based on pics

Depends if those are Malahat/Colwood crawl miles or not.

Also curious to know how a late-model M3 ended up in a shitty Duncan industrial park dealership ... According to their website, they only have 2 cars for sale. This and a Tiburon listed as an Accent

Is it possible to make a del sol that DOESNT LOOK ricey? If so, I've never seen it

The best way to start is to not paint your Del Sol orange...

Mark

JHatta 11-08-2015 07:08 PM

...or slap a massive wing on it.

I wouldn't drive that piece of shit riced out del sol even if it was given to me for free. That del sol is honestly the epitome of ricey cars.
