SpartanAir 07-04-2014 10:57 PM

My favourite new thread for sure. I'm tempted to buy things I never thought I would!

I really want that old Bel Air, just cuz. :)

white rocket 07-05-2014 09:26 AM

I emailed the seller of the E30 M3. I'll post their response as I inquired about the repaint and if there had been any accident and repairs.

On a side note, I smashed up my ITR on Thursday night like a fucking idiot so I may be in the market now.

fliptuner 07-05-2014 09:41 AM

Sorry to hear, dude.

Not interested in swapping the drivetrain into an LS?

Thought it sold a while back but here it is

1965 Pontiac Catalina

knight604 07-05-2014 04:21 PM

M3 e30

"This m3 has been comletely painted, passenger rear wheel well looks poorly repaired, and front bumper isn't mounted properly and is missing some bits and pieces as well as all of the plastic ducts/ shields for the front bumper. This is a clean Cali car that has been touched by idiots just like every other old BMW including my 6 that I have seen myself. This m3 real talk needs to be taken apart entirely and needs a proper $10k paintjob to bring it back to original proper condition."

white rocket 07-05-2014 04:38 PM

^^Thanks for posting that. Still kinda interested so I'm eager to see if the seller replies to my email.

Spoiler!

godwin 07-05-2014 06:37 PM

Just go to BCBimmer, the thread is here.

For local e30s, chances are they have been passed around the folks at BCBimmer like cheap whisky, so they know it in and out.

That doesn't sound too good but that's pretty much what I suspected. Sounds like it's been in an accident and someone hoped new paint would cover up poor repairs.

knight604 07-05-2014 11:27 PM

1989 BMW 325i
Chances may be slim.. But does anyone know anything about this 325i?
What should I offer the guy?

godwin 07-06-2014 09:52 AM

I am sure it doesn't have a V6 engine like it says in the ad?

Tell him to keep the $4000 stereo and take that off his asking price.

WWT Mercedes 300CE AMG 170K!

hud 91gt 07-06-2014 12:56 PM

That's a beauty.

godwin 07-06-2014 12:59 PM

I will take that over the e30! Definitely low production numbers for the coupe!

Except they don't turn on a dime like a BMW would (recirculating ball steering)
