That sti likely needs a new motor....

I bet the dealer got that thing on a trade in for dirt cheap....10gs cash and someone should buy it, new motor and what not and you got a fast capable car.

Do you know the previous owner? Or can you tell all of this from the craigslist ad?

That car has been for sale for at least a year, or passed through multiple hands. Each time its posted its under a new title. Seems like its a 325is with an s50 swapped in and supercharged. Guy tried to pass it off as an actual BMW motorsport M3 GTR motor at one point, which of course its not even similar. It could be worth a look though. I mean, the wheels are worth a couple grand alone. Its not an M3 though, and not a eurospec, but if its not a piece of shit, it will be a crazy amount of fun for 13k.

westopher 12-05-2015 10:06 PM

Also, this thing looks like it would be a fun time. Slam it and just wait for the internet props to roll in.

tofu1413 12-05-2015 11:25 PM

contemplating................

but any of you guys that are actually serious about buying it, feel free to pm me.

I could hook you guys up with that car, as I do know the sales manager of that dealer and have sent him business as well.

I have yet to drive it, but it is a solid runner, with stack of receipts since day one.

No we didn't.

I think we probably gave him a free coffee to make him not pester us and go away.

1998 Honda prelude SH

Possibly a decent buy, given the KM and mostly stock nature. Engine bay looks somewhat dirty though...

fliptuner 12-07-2015 04:29 PM

I prefer buying a car with an untouched engine bay, over one that's been cleaned up/detailed.

TouringTeg 12-07-2015 05:59 PM

Be like Westopher? 97 M3 101kms, $9995. It is at a dealer so be cautious at this price. Not bad if no accidents/stories.

Wrong wheels for a 97. I'm going to bet a rebuilt title, but shit, look 90% as cool as me for like 40% of what I've spent.
