Company of Cars are good guys. This looks like a good deal no?

Traum 12-11-2015 10:44 PM

I might be biased here since I have a thing for these cars, but I think this one is a good buy, if not at least a reasonable one, given the rarity of the K20Z1:

I'd say that's a more than fair price for an 05-06 with that many kms. I'd be tempted too, miss my old rsx

Its a lux package. Crappy wood trim, no vader seats, no twisty side skirts, front bumper mesh grille is supposed to be body coloured on 95s so I assume the front bumper has probably had at least a bit of work done.
If someone wants a 19k e36, I don't think thats the one. If telling everyone the # on the odometer is that important to you, you won't really find much lower, but from a collectability standpoint, that car has all the wrong boxes checked from the factory to be the a car thats sought out.
You'd probably need to spend a bit of money on major maintenance items that are dying from old age, but haven't been replaced due to mileage.

Seems like a fair deal. Victoria cars are often in good shape b/c of the really mild weather.

Not worth the price, but pretty cool to see one with such low mileage and no mods.

Price has been lowered 3 times from 42k to 39k now 37k. Has anyone checked it out?

This was actually my boss's old car and he traded it in to work a few months ago to get in line for an M2 next year. The dude that has it now works for a wholesale operation I believe.

The car has a large hit but passed CPO inspection when my boss bought it last year, and it had about a year or so of CPO warranty remaining. Nothing has ever gone wrong with the car and he's driven it to Edmonton a few times. It was a great car, I've driven it :D. Who knows how it is now...

What would be a reasonable transaction price for something like this?

i'm clueless about this. someone told me the opposite, saying that cars from the island that are not inland have more exposure to salt from the ocean?

Maybe if they're living on the west coast of the island but otherwise there's not enough water blowing off the ocean to have any meaningful impact. In the meantime it's half the rain of Vancouver, virtually no snow in the Victoria area and the one of the driest summers in all of Canada. Great conditions for a car to be in.

Tofino/Ucluelet area is the only area that I'm aware of that has this issue.
