2010 Audi A4 S line, great condition

Refreshed engine. Wish I was in the market for a vehicle!

v_tec 12-23-2015 01:55 PM

^ mileage kinda high imo.

bcrdukes 12-23-2015 02:03 PM

Looks like it was a highway-driven car and the motor was rebuilt to a certain extent.

Seems alright to me.

westopher 12-23-2015 02:07 PM

Thats a lot of car for around 10k. Very nice, albeit a bit plain for my tastes, especially with the auto.

Edit: thumper beat me to my post. But RIP 993.

+1

Seems like a pretty Plain Jane A4, but as westopher said, a pretty good deal to be had if you can get the car for $10 or 11K all said and done.

Engine components don't just get replaced for no reason. From personal experience, unless the motor was properly disassembled and machined (with all service records proving so), I'd stay away.

bcrdukes 12-23-2015 02:21 PM

Are you implying that the car is haunted and has HIV or something?

jing 12-23-2015 02:25 PM

No, I'm just wondering why Audi wouldn't swap in a new long block if they're already needing to reassemble the bottom end with new pistons

vitaminG 12-23-2015 03:03 PM

^i was thinking the same thing, but it was probably out of warranty and this was probably the cheapest way to repair whatever problems it had.

according to VMR Canada, the values for that car with it's mileage is b/t 11400-14250.
Hardly a "deal"

And given the questionable engine repairs on such a new car....

Even though this has been on sale for 3 years, it's still a decent buy. He started at $4500 back in 2012 and the price has been dropping ever since.

Too bad the seller is flaky. When I inquired about it last year through text, he just stopped texting out of the blue

This is what it looked like 3 years ago so I can't comment on what it looks like now.

F/S: 1988 BMW E30 M3 - Rennlist Discussion Forums

http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/a...a/IMG_3846.jpg

41K USD w/ high miles but it looks beautiful, would be a great drivers car.

Lower mile E30 M3's in this condition are fetching close to 100K now from what I've seen.

While I don't think E30 M3 is the greatest car of all time, I would still love to own one.

tofu1413 12-24-2015 09:59 AM

No kidding, and every other e30 was selling from 1000 to 3000. Incredible how popular they've become. That m3 is in immaculate condition it seems

Daily driven E30 M3's were $8-12K back in 98.
I came very close to picking one up back then.
91 MR2 turbo's were also 12K around that time. :yuno:

Hope the clutch is still decent. Good deal if it checks out.

jasonturbo 12-24-2015 11:21 AM

Mehhh E30 M3 were already expensive in 2008, maybe if you were lucky you could find a rat bagged piece of shit for 8K USD. I was shopping for them back then... I remember it well.

You need to go back to 2005 ish when you could still get a decent one for 12-15K - and that is 10 years ago.

thumper 12-24-2015 02:29 PM
