i remember a yellow nsx with that same bodywork with a rebuilt title several years back being sold at a burnaby used car lot on edmonds. could this be the same one? i remember people saying the conversion was a total hack job...

edit: is this it? but i not see a window for the engine bay like the green one has...

Yup, JDM import. There are holes drilled for the Japanese plate on either side of the BC plate holes. I've had to drill those many a time on my imports.

Love my wagons! This thing is pretty cool I must say, very rare. Probably a bitch to work on though; Mercs are not tinker-friendly. Ask me how I know.

Damn. I stand corrected! Well when you have a nice example, makes sense. I remember when I listed my R32 GTR over 6 years ago, pretty much the same thing happened, guy came down from Fort Mac and drove it back. Those 'bertans got money.

like everyone else, it's possible he's trying to profit from the exchange rate and sell it to the US?

I think it probably cost too much to be very profitable to begin with, and the price in USD is quite reasonable. I have no idea what he paid for it though. Could have got it cheaper than market value.
