I think it probably cost too much to be very profitable to begin with, and the price in USD is quite reasonable. I have no idea what he paid for it though. Could have got it cheaper than market value.

Long story short, been on the hunt for a GT3. Found this instead, loved it. But I may have found a GT3 so...

Don't have the bank to keep all 3 cars, otherwise I would.

I've priced it fairly reasonably to facilitate a quick sale.

The fit and fitment of all the RS tribute parts look great and has been resprayed to a high quality level. I would have bought his car, but I am just not mechanically inclined enough to work on the car myself. I think his price is reasonable and fair. Someone is going to get a great car!

Thanks Micky. Looking forward to seeing your 991!

^ soon Kenneth, I am itching to get back to into the Porsche club again, but I think I am going to save a bit more and get a 991 C4S. I still drool over your car though:)

35k for that m5? Fucking ridiculous. It's nice but no way anything over 100k should be 30+
I want that Porsche obviously.

That yellow beauty has got me scheming hard right now Kreygasm

It couldn't have been cheap to get that car to it's current state. All things considered, I'd call it a good buy.

Do it. :)

Would be awesome to keep this local! Value-wise, if there was a stock C2 in the same flawless condition, it'd be mid 50s to low 60s USD depending on colour...

BLACK 2006 MANUAL HONDA CIVIC

Whatever the exhaust issue is, should be a cheap fix with used parts (if applicable). Good price for a reliable daily car.

Z3guy 02-02-2016 01:22 PM

^ $50K cdn for a high mileage 911? pretty steep? (albeit with a rebuilt motor) I would pay the extra money and get Skunkworks 993.......

westopher 02-02-2016 01:33 PM

With Porsches of that vintage I'd say it's not an if, but a when for the motor rebuild so I see it as a major positive. I'd rather have skunkworks as well, but we know I'm getting neither.

TouringTeg 02-02-2016 03:51 PM

Funny I was just looking at the red 01 E39 M5 again today in case I sold my 993. The dollar plus air cooled madness means it is tempting to sell. I posted the M5 a while back and it's still available for $21,900. 175kms and very well maintained. I know the owner and take my car to be serviced at the same place.

Also a random comment about the US dollar. I sold my CRX to a buyer in Quebec today. I am finding that the poor Canadian dollar is pushing Canadians to buy cars already in Canada since a comparable US car is now far more expensive. Similar to our tourism dollars staying in Canada.

Decently price em1 sir?

2000 Honda Civic SiR EM1

fliptuner 02-02-2016 10:20 PM

Probably more to it than just a stolen recovery, judging by the right fender bolts.

If everything checks out though, a $2k beater/slut would be alright.

thumper 02-03-2016 07:00 AM

wondering if the bad clearcoat sunburn was from a poor respray of the front end...

You can get 90's defenders for cheaper and honestly i'd prefer the long wheel base suv's over the pick up. You're paying for rarity with this one. I wouldn't call it a "good" buy. But, definitely a "cool" buy.
