This sprung up on Kijiji a few days ago but I can't find it there anymore.

2001 BMW 540i M-Sport 6-Speed

I reckon it's a rebuild, but even at that price I suspect there's something else lurking.

1991 honda crx

If everything checks outs, it's a pretty good crx. Unsure if the price is considered a good buy?

fliptuner 02-08-2016 08:07 PM

Hell, if the body is clean, it's worth it. Hard to tell with it being wet but the 1/4's don't look bad (unless shitty fill/shoot). Bonus if the mileage is true and it runs decent.

tegra7 02-08-2016 08:11 PM

^CRX looks like a good deal. I personally love them but I felt extremely unsafe when I had my ef hatch years back, thing would rip open like a sardine can in a serious collision.

TouringTeg 02-08-2016 08:15 PM

That CRX had been on the market for weeks at $2400 It's not an Si but a good buy if there isn't much rust

Last week I sold my 91 CRX Si , 255kms all stock and rusty to a buyer in Quebec for $2400 I think I got top dollar.

Lol, it doesn't take a serious collision to fuck these up:

(yes, I know, DA but same gen)

I like light cars though.

I love light weight cars aswell, but in my defence the dc2 has airbags which makes me feel somewhat safe. The a pillars are razor thin though.

Westopher thoughts?

westopher 02-08-2016 08:51 PM

Truthfully, not cheap, but if my car were wrecked and I was cut a cheque today, I'd be PPIing that car tomorrow. Insanely low KM's, fantastic colour, very rare to boot, final model year. As always, its strongly pending on upkeep and the story behind the car, but if its mint that car is well worth it.

dared3vil0 02-08-2016 09:18 PM

So if your E36 was totalled you would get another one?

westopher 02-08-2016 09:25 PM

With the way the car market is? Likely.
There isn't a car under 40k+ that could surpass the enjoyment for me.
Not to mention I have probably 10k worth of desirable parts to swap over if they weren't all ruined.

Anyone considering any early year 350z (or g35/murano/fx35) beware that these had oil consumption issues
