Sounds like it's in good shape. But I agree, perhaps a Toyota Crown rebadged? It has sidemarkers on the fenders and no orange DOT reflector in the headlight housing. Quick google search reveals they don't have sidemarkers, and the lower lip is different...

Here's one with what looks like a Euro plate perhaps? Has sidemarkers and no reflectors. Also being a 2000 means it is recently importable under the 15 year law.

the front lip and sills are aftermarket. if i were to guess it might be WALD because they look similar to the ones i had on my old GS.

Yeah; a closer look reveals what looks like a Toyota badge on the grill, plus I read the whole ad and on the bottom is has a website for JDM imports.. oh well.
