but yes the 05/06 Type-S has aged pretty well...i'd feel it's worth the extra 30%+ premium over the 02-04 as you hardly see them on the street these days

i quite like the titanium grey...i'd put 1st owner and great maintanence over slightly lower kms NBP/Pearl White one with multiple owners

there was one for 9500 not too long ago, high mileage isnt a big deal for me. how much would an ap1 with 250km+ go for?

Gazorcoop 07-16-2014 02:42 PM

It's more about when one would pop up with that mileage/price range.

a year ago that 911 was selling for 12,000. Ridiculous prices now.

Morris Minor

This is tempting to me for many reasons. Ditch the front bar, and the stacks. Good Classic Car Adventures mobile...But yeah, no room for a commercial truck.

If the top was black, I'd seriously consider this. Wrapped, lowered and blacked out, different and classic all at the same time.

Nice find on the International. I wonder if it's a 7.3 under there cause those engine bays seem pretty narrow.

CCA-Dave 07-16-2014 04:21 PM

I have a '52 international dump truck project, if I ever get around to it. The engine bay is pretty narrow, but a tonne of sheet metal can be cut out of the inner fenders without fouling the wheels.

I'm still dreaming about an International 1 ton dump truck listed on Craigslist a couple summers ago. Ice knows the one. It was perfect....

All the sort of "old rally car" look vehicles I drool over are either not available here or so rare that I'd never find one (RS1600, Skyline Mk1, Lancias, etc). The sort of car that Paul Walker just happens to find lying around in Fast and Furious movies in the middle of the Favela.

I thought about buying a GTI MK1 to fix up, learn and play with before I bought a MK6 to actually drive daily and now buying one seems like a rather weird choice to have two Golfs. What would you guys recommend? An older, sporty car that doesn't necessarily have a ton of power but is quick and handles great.

 I jizzed in my pants seeing one of these when I was in Japan. I wasn't aware that something even more beautiful existed until I saw Fast 6 and the RS1600. Friend of mine in England has one of these things (...yellow...) in his garage and even in a stupid color, it's awesome.

I saw that in person, alright condition, rear bumper was hit, high mileage, but it drove beautifully. Made an offer but couldn't make a deal. Someone else must've bought it the day after.

S2K do come by around that price, my previous 00 ap1 was only 11k with 105K km, and that was 4 years ago. They sure hold good value.

Acura : Integra TYPE R | eBay

If i knew yesterday....I would've joined in the bid war

GS8 07-16-2014 09:33 PM

My dad told me there a few people at his work who might be interested in my Regal.

I know must pay very close attention to this thread.

Lowered_Klass 07-16-2014 09:33 PM

All this talk about a cheap Type R, in good condition, is like gettin' blue-balled by a hot chick.

Stop all this teasing before I have to go jerk off to a low mileage GSR, and regret it tomorrow morning.
