cool car, not sure if it qualifies as a "good buy" |
Almost bought one of those in highschool, I think it was listed for 7000 2 years ago. Pretty sweet car imo, but maybe not 10000 cool |
^ you could import one for half that 5k plus taxes and duties and you could have this Subaru Legacy B4 RSK |

This is a bad craigslist deal. If i remember correctly, this sold for around 6-7? |
lol this thread consists mainly of pieces of sht that are interesting cars but no one would ever truly consider when the need for a car arises |
seriously that 1990 white accord is still the best deal there is on this thread as the price was a steal for DD |

On the topic of neat cars that aren't good buys…. Although I highly doubt there are many other minty RX7's out there... 1984 RX7 GSL-SE Original body style |
Anything that cheap, at a bigger dealership, will have problems. Wholesaler probably wouldn't even take it for more than scrap lol. |

Is this a good buy ? Hows the maintenance on this car? Can any regular mechanic person do it? 1981 DELOREAN DMC-12 |
It's on the high end. Although, the DMC resto might make it worth more than most. Mechanically, pretty straightforward but a lot of the parts are off different cars. |
I love that the only thing differentiating the DMC engine, from that offered in the 260 series Volvo's at the time, is that black metal plate at the top of the motor. Explains why that car was so terribly slow! |
Another "piece of shit" :accepted: '84 Tercel wagon (5-spd) for $750 Toyota tercel wagon. One of a kind. Original owner-clean-NO ACC. much utility  |

Normal deloreans are in the 20-25 range, and restored ones can go way higher.. but that doesn't make them a good buy. i've seen fully 'restored' deloreans with stage 10 engine, stage 7 suspension, 500 shot nos and they want 60k. i'm sure they spent a lot on it.. but it takes a very special person to spend 60k+ on a delorean.. A 'good buy' delorean would be 20k in tip top shape, or 15k and needs a bit of work. |

That's a good deal for that dude that wants a sub-$1k, 5spd, to learn on. |

Most of the listings are no longer available (author deleted). It tells me that other people saw the value and purchased the vehicles. And how many people would DD a '58 Roadmaster or a high mileage M5? :concentrate: |
