toss a LS1 in it would be nice |
some of those prices on that fb group seem atrocious... or am i just really off on how much the make and model of said car is worth.. lol |
Remember buying internationally when the dollar isn't worth anything in a skyrocketing enthusiast car market, isn't exactly full of cheap cars for us. |

ill take the shell and shove the 4.0 V8 into there :drunk: |
paintwork lools so sketchy on that landrover, and the interior looks to be more complete inside the crates and boxes rather than being installed in the vehicle itself? |
1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Saanich, Victoria Hard to find an air cooled 911 manual coupe in BC that a dealer hasn't got a hold of. Looks like sport seats from a 95 993. Fantastic seats! |
hey guys, i got a line on a year 2000 red s2000, original owner, 35,000km, summer driven, garaged in the winter, apparently its pretty damn clean, no accidents etc.. hasnt hit the market yet. he's asking 20k for it... screaming deal or just good deal? i know little about these cars, just that the value of them is going up like crazy. |
Sounds like on the better end of good deal. Its AP1 which is far less desirable according to people that know stuff (not me when it comes to Hondas) but thats insanely low milage. Nice that its not black or silver too. |
|
x2 what West said With that mileage that AP1 is a good deal even though it is less desirable than the AP2. A dealer would list it in the low 20s Here is a comparable: https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/5472620080.html |

Maybe i'm crazy but if I was buying an S2000 I would want to purchase it stock, or as close to stock as possible... |

Lol isn't that true with any used cars? Modifications never really add values to the car and potentially indicate how owners may have treated the car. The only exception is when the seller is a known member with tasteful mods and hardparked the car lol. |
If you have minimum $230k lying around, I'd say this is a good buy/investment. 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary, 53,070 km, MT5 Location: Japan Auction: 22nd March 2016 (Monday night Vancouver time) Note: 4B high grade, Super rare right hand drive, Red on beige interior, 1 of 650 build (included LHD & RHD), all org. Estimate: auction start at ¥20mil JPY **EDIT Here's the link. Lots of nice cars he has access to, including some nice 911's on auction today. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...8932494&type=3 The ultimate bedroom poster car. https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...70&oe=5786774C https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...96&oe=578888B7 https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...f2&oe=577EE52D https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...0e&oe=578877DF |
In the imaginary world where I have a quarter of a mil for a countach, I'm holding out for LHD. If you see the air-cooled porsche market, RHD even though much rarer kills value. |
^True, I do wish it was LHD. RHD can hurt value on cars that weren't largely built for RHD countries, Porsches are a good example. But I'd still take it over a newer Lambo any day of the week. Ultimate street cred. Also, notice the lack of nasty USDM 5mph bumpers. |
^u wish it was LHD? are u in the market to buy one? lol |

I love that Japan is one of (if not the) top tier countries for tech development, yet it looks like every single car auction has shared the same potato of a camera for the last 15+ years. |

It kind of goes without saying but be cautious if buying a JDM auction car. Sight unseen is always a big risk. A friend purchased a 911 from Ray (Facebook posted on previous page). He also owns Rotec (Porsche wheels and seats).. Pm for details. |
