Whatever it is, what's with the two giant pieces of sheet metal stuck in the passenger side of the windshield? If that was what really happened in the accident and there was a passenger, I don't even want to know what happened to the passenger.

Can vouch for the dealer selling the car. Real nice no BS guy. If anyone's seriously interested in the car I will pass on your info to my contact who may or may not be able to give you a better price.
Fun fact: I'm fairly certain this car used to belong to the "asr" guy in here who used to sell dash cams. Now it belongs to another guy whose shop is very well known in the community.
I might go look at this car. Was it not being sold as private sale for $29k USD or something like that? Did the guy end up trading it to the dealer because of his ridiculous asking price?
not sure it was a trade in because he moved out of the country.

Beware the 6 speed transmissions are quite a bit weaker than the 5 speed.
Failures have been realized with as little as 320wtq on the 6 speed, but most people say you're ok up until 375 - 450 wtq.

Don't know the full details but it's likely a consignment sale. Dealership owner and Evo owner are good friends.
I doubt you'll find a cleaner LHD tt mk4 than that... At least from the ad is looks that way
Eventhough it's rebuilt?
Was the NA spec the same as the J-spec supra? I had a UK spec one, and it had a lot of nice features that the J-spec didnt. Bigger brakes, active spoiler, glass head light covers, leather seats (though kind of heavy) etc.
"yes its an US car, not sure of when it was imported to canada the previous owner did that. i bought the car through icbc in 2011 it was damaged on the passenger rear quarter panel right above the tire. there was no structual damage and no mechanical damage. i did have pics of the damages but then my laptop crashed and i lost all my photos."
I hate that type of lie, so textbook, but who knows

US spec had better turbos, bigger brakes, leather and targa(this one is just preference), i believe it also had bigger cams.
As for the Supra for 38k, that is not a good deal in my opinion, since it has a rebuild title.
For anyone considering this one, US spec'd supras have VIN tags on each body panel (fenders, hood, doors, inner door jams, hatch). So, if it really just had 1 of the quarters repaired/replaced, then the other VIN tags should be in place.
