Definitely not fake. I drive by the M5 nearly every day. I asked about the badge. She said it was because it had the exhaust. No mention of being supercharged.

Interior is in good shape except for some fading on the rear head rests.

Seeing hoonigan sticker, dice, and N on the car really makes me so sad...... She's definitely been abused... sigh...

Not relative to the housing value in Vancouver.

They have been steady, more or less. And that one is pre-face lift, if you're okay with that.

The ad also mentions it has a VI. Sounds like the car was ruined by the previous owner, not the current seller.

2003 BMW E46 M3 Red on Red

"2003 BMW M3

- Imola Red Exterior
- Red Leather Interior
- 6-Speed Manual
- Currently at 120,xxx km
- No accident

Here's a list of recent maintenance done on the car.

- Front lower control arms replaced (driver & passenger) 2,000 km ago
- Spark plugs replaced 2,000 km ago
- Starter motor replaced 2,000 km ago
- Oil Change, brake fluid flush, transmission fluid flush, coolant flush done 2,000 km ago
- Front & Rear brakes done 5,000 km ago
- New clutch done 10,000 km ago

I am the second owner of the vehicle and this car was always babied and taken care of.
There is only 1 ICBC claim made in 2003 for vandalism and this is the only claim on the report.
All the maintenance is up to date and the car is good to go.

^looks like the trunk was replaced at one point. Badge out of alignment, no factory trunk lip spoiler

jing 04-08-2016 11:30 AM

Seller of the red E46 seems to have been on and off again about selling it for the past while.

Anybody know the story on this one? Seems like a solid deal, but feel like it's been for sale somewhere else and just got transfered there

ask tofu. tofu knows all... not everything was fully disclosed in the ad. if you want to guess... someone already spotted the issues with the trunk lid :(

ugh i keep thinking of another e46 m3 that looks just like this one, right down to the stock wheels with black painted spokes, but the other one was sold by splendid auto and had rebuilt title, with some of the underhood plastic bits painted red to match the car. but this one is not rebuilt...

47k vs 120k... not the same car.

tofu1413 04-09-2016 03:53 PM

^ the guy probably bought it at splendid.... and drove it for a few years.

bomberR17 04-09-2016 04:52 PM

This M3 seems to be low in value. 2012 M3 with only 44k km's and only $45k? Sounds like scam but it's from a dealership and clean title. Fully loaded with comp package.

If legit, better deal than that 2009 one posted earlier.

2012 BMW M3 Coupe

tofu1413 04-09-2016 05:00 PM

^ called already. :lawl:

has a 25k claim.... and so forth

damn, knew it was too good to be true. What kind of damages was it?

tofu1413 04-09-2016 05:06 PM

Guy was pretty honest about it, car got side swiped. door panel, quarter panel has been repaired.

for sure a reputable shop, as there only a handful shops in Vancouver that can do Frozen colors on BMWs.
