No catch, it's tentatively sold already.

I guess what caught me was "No significant rust" part, but I guess at $4k, there are still tons of people willing to buy the Miata. Apparently the guy received like 5 emails in the first 3 hours.

Saw the ad before it was taken down. $4k is a decent price. Not a steal by a long shot. I paid a bit more than that a couple years ago for my first 90 Miata with similar mods but a hardtop was included in the deal.

2013 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe (991) Sunroof | Pwr Sport Seats | Pa for $82,900 in Vancouver | autoTRADER.ca

2012 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Black Edition W/ Nav! Sport Chrono! for $82,900 in Toronto | autoTRADER.ca

what do you guys think? 991.1 and 997.2
relatively low KMs and both at around 84K

i am in no desperate need for a car, so i could wait for the M2....which I likely wont get until sometime next year...maybe even fall of 2017.
but by then I wouldnt be able to insure the car as an albertan and will end up paying 13% GST

so on a cost stand point

61K + approx $3000pdi/frieght + 13% HST = 72320

porsche 83K + 5% gst = 87150
so the price difference (assuming I get no discount on the used porsche) is approx 15K
but arguably the M2 is still a better car than the base carrera, and the price at 74K includes 4 years of maintenance....

but yea....not sure what to do, but what do you guys think of those 2 porsches on auto trader?

Or saying its stock but 420hp? Could be a typo haha... also why does it say Auto in the ad but show a manual shifter and clutch in the pictures (and in other part of the listing says manual) unless he means "Auto" as in the power options are automatic?

When the hype dies down on the M2, I am sure you will be happier you bought a Porsche. When it is all said and done the M2 is a wonderful great value Sports coupe that drives amazingly well but still doesn't look or feel that special. It seems to be missing something, can't pinpoint it. The Porsche will always be a Porsche that is built for performance. As much as I love the 997.2, the 991 is a far superior car in almost every way. Interior is way better and those extra 4 inches of wheelbase give it the stability the 997.2 will never have. Personally, I would just bite the bullet and spend another $15K and get a 2012 Carrera S. You know you are always going to want the S. Haha!

^ I though this was a good buys thread, not a rare buys thread.....$58K for a 85K kms car is not a good deal when you get a 2016 M2 for $61K. $3K more for a brand new car with a warranty???

That 1M is a sub-$50K car. Mileage kills it since he's going for "collector" value at that price.
